There is so much to see and do in Hokkaido, especially in and around the capital of Sapporo. From delicious restaurants, fun bars and relaxing hot springs, known as onsens, you will definitely have no shortage of great activities. And on this short, half-day group trip, I would like to suggest another activity: snowboarding with Japan’s top ranked rider!

Along with being the country’s top ranked rider, I am also ranked number five in the world, and a freeride world tour rider. I have snowboarded on slopes throughout Japan, and the ones in the resorts of Hokkaido are definitely some of the best. Surrounded by sensational natural scenery, don’t be surprised if in between runs you find yourself gazing at the landscape.

Because of the popularity of the resorts of Hokkaido, many of the riding areas can become crowded. But fear not because I can take you to the lesser known and subsequently less crowded spots that are every bit as excellent.

Comfortable with English and Japanese, I will offer you advice and tips whenever possible. And while this trip is not about strict instruction, I am still happy to help experienced riders get even better.
