The San Jose volcano is located at an altitude of 5856 m. (19212 ft.) in the Central Andes in Chile. It is known as the silent giant and is the highest southernmost volcano in the stunning Andes range. On this 4-day adventure, we will get to climb to the top of this amazing mountain. We will set off first to Plantat hut, and then progressively climb the San Jose volcano until we reach the summit on the third day of our trek. Finally, we will return our starting point.
