Description

The Hakuba valley is an enormous area full of fantastic ski resorts, all of which offer great access via comfortable ski lifts. Therefore, this is the perfect spot for any visitor to have an ideal skiing experience!

For this full day group trip, you will get to ski with a professional, who is also the fourth ranked FWQ skier in Japan. Along with having a fantastic time, I will provide you with tips and advice whenever the opportunity presents itself. Furthermore, you will be able to follow my lines and share in on some pro secrets! This will be a great chance to improve as a skier and have a great time.

The snow in Hakuba is plentiful and perfect for great skiing. The area itself is also gorgeous, with the Japan Alps looming nearby. So during the day we will be spending there, I will take you to its best spots and we will have an unforgettable time exploring tree runs, terrain parks and more!

It is important to note that in order to participate in this trip, you should have prior skiing experience, at least at an intermediate level. You should be able to connect turns and safely descend intermediate level slopes without assistance.

Please note that you will need to sign a liability waiver prior to the beginning of the trip.
Participants will need to have appropriate insurance coverage (including skiing and snowboarding).

Also, for safety and liability reasons, we will stay within ski resort boundaries at all times.

I am based near the Hakuba Cortina Ski Resort in Japan and run a guesthouse there while doing my ski training.

At the Freeride World Qualifier in Hakuba last year, I finished 6th. Every day, I train in order to reach a higher ranking in my upcoming competitions.

I aspire to run a fun, relaxed freeriding session so that people of all levels can enjoy the experience. I look forward to riding with you!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
