The Canadian Boundary Mountains are a place of savage wildlife and adventure. They are the perfect location for backcountry skiing and exploration, specially during the spring months.
However, exploring unchartered territory is not always easy to do without a guide and with a lot of equipment. This is why the Ski Mountaineering Camp in the Boundary Mountains is ideal for adventurers like you who want the perks of exploration without the hassle of lugging things around the unknown.
Between mid March and the end of May, you can delve into the most remote parts of this mountainous region during the day. Then at night, you have a warm and welcoming campsite to return to. We make sure to transport all your stuff to the campsite and then take you by helicopter, ski plane or snowmobile to the day’s destination. Additionally, we provide the winter camp gear, and great camp food! Plus, since we offer a small guest/guide ratio we can cater to your preferences and ability levels.
This is, however, not a trip for beginners. It is only suitable for experienced backcountry skiers or splitboarders, preferably with avalanche training. You should be comfortable with black diamond runs at the resort. Also, you will need to provide your own gear and keep in mind that glacier travel, rope use, and ski crampon use will all be part of the adventure!
If you love skiing, and getting a feel of the snow, if you love nature and camp life, then you can’t miss this Boundary Mountain adventure. Make sure to book now and follow me into one of Canada’s most stunning unexplored regions! I will be happy to guide you through the mountains and provide you with the best possible campsite commodities. Join me to make the best of the snow season this spring!
Do you prefer a summer adventure in the region? Join us for a 3-day Yukon wilderness base camp hike!

Mountain Guide
I am an ACMG ski guide, as well as a Canadian Avalanche Association (CAA) Professional Member and an Advanced Wilderness First Responder.
I was born and raised in Fernie, BC in the heart of the Canadian Rockies and have spent my whole life working and playing in the mountains. There is nothing I love more than exploring remote mountains on skis and sharing that experience with others.
The northwest corner of British Columbia and the western Yukon offer some of the most mind-blowing ski terrain on the planet and I have spent over a decade exploring that terrain. As one of the few certified guides in this vast region, I have intimate local knowledge of the area and can help you make the most of your Yukon adventure.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
