Founded in 2013 by Elis and Silvia, PEAKSHUNTER Mountain Guides is a team of IFMGA-certified Mountain Professionals and outdoor activities experts, based in the town of Aosta, not far from Courmayeur-Chamonix, on the Italian side of the Mont Blanc massif.

We live and work in the beautiful Aosta Valley region, very close to French and Swiss borders near to Geneva, Milan, and Turin international airports.

Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Dufourspitze, Pyramide Vincent and Regina Margherita Hut, Gran Paradiso, Breithorn, Lyskamm, Castor and Pollux are only a few of several 4000 Alps summits you can climb with us: most of our team of Guides were born and grew up close to these mountains and they have explored the ascent routes several times during different seasons, with skis or crampons!

- We love our work: we plan all our trips with great commitment and deep respect for the Alpine environment, for its inhabitants, and its territories. Including local traditions in different valleys and Alpine areas.

Had a blast with Elis from Peakshunter. We enjoyed the climbing quite a bit, and Elis was kind and helpful, and the views at Albard di Bard were amazing! We had never done multi pitch climbing before and he made it a really fun time for us.

We booked two trips for our 17 year old son. The first, a small group ascent of Breithorn with Angelo as guide, went to plan; the second - the Aiguilles MarbrĂ©es - didn’t because of adverse weather conditions. As we had come from London and had limited flexibility, Silvia was super helpful and arranged for him to have a day on a via ferrata climb with Paolo instead. Communication was excellent and the guides great; our son loved both days and we would thoroughly recommend. Thank you!

Hi Explore-Share, I really loved the overall experience during the summit of the wonderful Gran Paradiso. I got to meet new people who were also like-minded, and understand each other and helping along the way. In particular, I must say the guidance offered by our team leader Simone and Fabio were really important, to understand the safety measures and technical challenges along the way. They also gave key insights into the terrain, weather and adapting to the changes accordingly. Of course, for me being in the mountaineering field as a hobby for 20 years now, it was still helpful and I learned new things. I would really want to come back again to this experience and re-live it with you all over again. Special thanks to Fabio who dropped me all the way from Valsavarenche to Ivrea with a special shot of coffee he made in his car. :) Best regards, Arjun Srivatsa

The guides were great, with a wealth of experience. The comunication between the explore share was very poor . We were not told what b and b we were staying until the day before. We were lucky we had signal on are phones to get the address. If we didn't have signal it would of caused a major issue for us .
