Description
The country of powder. The country where skis are essential. The country where everything is immense: the mountains, the trucks, the roads, the burgers. Welcome to Yukon Territory, at the northwest of Canada.
I invite you to join me on a week-long trip surrounded by the purest air and the best powder snow. We will sleep at mountain cabins and do our own cooking in wood-burning stoves. We will also spend three days at the Tatshenshini-Alsek Park, exploring infinite routes and sleeping in a hut at night.
At White Pass, we will ski down from the summits that border the valley, and enjoy the most amazing views. And we will set up our base in a magic place, just at the edge of a frozen lake.
The tour demands a good ski and fitness level, though extensive ski touring experience is not required. Everyday, we will climb between 800 and 1,500 meters. But as the massif is vast, it is always possible to ski an extra slope, even up to 2,500 meters.

Itinerary
Day 1: France - Whitehorse
Flight to Yukon Capital. Arrival in the late afternoon. We will use the latest
hours to go shopping for the next few days.
Day 2: Whitehorse - Stellar mountain hut
We reach the Stellar hut through Haines Junction. The cabin is
rustic, with a wood–burning stove. We will do our own cooking. In the afternoon
we will go skiing on one of the many summits.
Day 3 to 5: Tatshenshini - Alsek Park
From the hut, we go skiing to the mountain foot and then climb the peaks bordering the valley.
Day 6: Stellar mountain hut - Haines - Carcross
After a nice day of skiing, we reach White Pass to explore the summits
bordering this valley. The possibilities are endless. We will base ourselves in a
magic place at the edge of a frozen lake.
Day 7 to 8: Ski in White Pass
Day 9 to 10: Whitehorse - France
