Highlights

  • True sea-to-summit ski touring in one of Norway’s most spectacular alpine environments.
  • Private guiding: the plan adapts to you—not to a fixed group itinerary.
  • Guided by a local Lofoten-based guide (Henningsvær year-round) focused on safe decision-making and great skiing.

Description

Lofoten is one of the world’s most iconic “sea-to-summit” ski touring destinations: sharp alpine peaks rising straight from the ocean, compact approaches, and dramatic scenery in every direction. This private ski touring day is designed to adapt—your guide will shape the plan around the weather, snowpack, avalanche forecast, and your group’s energy, with the goal of finding the best (and safest) skiing available.

You’ll meet in Henningsvær to align on objectives and review the day’s plan. A typical tour begins near sea level and climbs toward peaks around 800–900m, where you’ll choose the best descent options based on conditions. When it makes sense, the day can include more than one descent to maximize your time in great terrain. You’ll wrap up in the afternoon with a short debrief—tired legs, big views, and usually a new line already in mind.

If you’d like to ski Lofoten with a guide who lives locally year-round and keeps the day focused on quality skiing + good decisions, send a request to book and let us know your dates, experience, and goals.
