Description

Follow me on a fantastic trip to the stunning Picos de Europa. Located in the Cantabrian Mountains, Spain, this outstanding set of peaks is a skiers’ paradise you don’t want to miss.

Picos de Europa offers virgin snow, uncrowded mountains and spectacular skiing routes. Furthermore, it features plenty of alternatives for all skiing levels. Here are some of the options I propose:

Fuente Dé: a challenging mountain. Its cable car allows skiers to reach high altitudes with plenty of snow during the Spring as well.

Alto Campoo: perfect for off-piste skiing. The mountain offers breathtaking views of all Picos de Europa.

Palentina Mountain: the most desolate and wild of all.

Castro Valnera y Lunada: not as tall as the others but with incredible powder snow. Ideal for skiers of all levels.

Let me know about your previous skiing experience, expectations, the amount of time you wish to stay and, together, we can choose the right option for this trip. And if you’d like to try different routes, why not stay in the mountains for several days?

So, send your request and book your place now! I can’t wait to guide you in these wonderful peaks.

I also offer other ski touring adventures in the Pyrenees (Portalet, Valle de Tena, Bisaurin and more)!

Mountain Guide

AEGM Mountain Guide from Spain

Passionate for mountains since I was a kid, at 14 I started climbing in Atxarte (Vizcaya) walls, thanks to some friends. Later I discovered other activities such as canyoning, skiing and ice climbing, which allowed me to enjoy mountains both in summer and in winter.

I travelled around Europe, USA, India, Peru, Marruecos, among others, with the excuse of climbing some peak, wall, or doing some canyoning.

I've been a member of the 'Young Alpinists Technification Team' of the Basque Mountain Federation, and after gaining experience in all mountain disciplines I left behind my job as electronic technician to become a guide in order to pass on my passion and knowledge to others.
