The Pyrenees is an impressive mountain chain on the border between Spain and France. It offers plenty of options for all types of skiing levels, for ski mountaineering, ski touring and off-piste skiing. Here are some of the options I propose:
Portalet (France) and Valle de Tena: the perfect place to dive into the ski mountaineering world. There are tons of routes for all levels and guaranteed snow all the winter season.
Balneario de Panticosa: probably the best place to practice ski mountaineering.
Linza Refuge: offers several routes for a ski touring adventure.
Bisaurin: another perfect place with wide and open spaces.
Let me know about your previous skiing experience, expectations, the amount of time you wish to stay and we can choose the right option for you. And if you’d like to try different routes, why not stay in the mountains for longer?
So, what are you waiting for? Just send your request and I’ll make sure you enjoy an amazing ski adventure!
I also offer other adventures in Spain including this ski touring adventure to the Picos de Europa and a canyoning trip in the Basque Country and Navarra.
- Guiding fee
- Personal insurance
This is the price for ski tours in Portalet. The price may vary for other locations. Please get in touch with me for more information. Price does not include accommodation, meals, drinks, transport to the start of the trip or personal equipment.
AEGM Mountain Guide from Spain
Passionate for mountains since I was a kid, at 14 I started climbing in Atxarte (Vizcaya) walls, thanks to some friends. Later I discovered other activities such as canyoning, skiing and ice climbing, which allowed me to enjoy mountains both in summer and in winter.
I travelled around Europe, USA, India, Peru, Marruecos, among others, with the excuse of climbing some peak, wall, or doing some canyoning.
I've been a member of the 'Young Alpinists Technification Team' of the Basque Mountain Federation, and after gaining experience in all mountain disciplines I left behind my job as electronic technician to become a guide in order to pass on my passion and knowledge to others.
