Description

The Spanish Pyrenees offer lots of amazing winter sports areas, and Val d’Aran is certainly one of them. This is your opportunity to explore this amazing spot, join me for an awesome 4-day skiing trip!

Val d’Aran is a beautiful valley in the heart of the Pyrenees, in Lleida, Spain. At this stunning spot we will find the famous Baqueira-Beret, the biggest and most famous ski resort in the country. Offering a huge untracked area with top-quality powder snow, this destination is perfect for freeride and ski touring lovers.

This trip starts with two days in Baqueira Beret. Using the lifts, we will quickly reach the most ideal spots to practice freeride and ski touring and get to know each other. A good communication between the participants and the guide is essential on this type of terrain!

We will work on:

Security techniques
Using anchors, crampons and ice axe
Rappel techniques
Climbing crests
Descent techniques on steep slopes

The last two days, we will use the ski touring gear to move further away and put into practice what we learned. Please note this trip is only suitable for intermediate skiers with a good fitness level.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
