Join certified guide Stefan for 2 hours of wonderful rock climbing in Steyregg, Austria. Ideal for climbers with little to no experience.
Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep
This trip will take place on the Buchinger wall, near Steyregg. This wall is a lot of fun, and provides a number of great views of the stunning region from which it is located.
Another wonderful advantage of this trip is how easy it is. Perfect for those who have little to no rock climbing experience, this trip can even accommodate children. Hence making it an ideal family adventure. This also makes the trip a great place to get started in what could end up becoming a lifelong rock climbing passion.
We all have to start somewhere, and the rock climbing near Steyregg is a great place to start!
Throughout the few hours of this relaxing climbing trip, I will also do my best to give you as many tips as possible. I will help you improve the skills necessary for fun and safe rock climbing, from rope commands and partner check to basic climbing techniques.
So if you want to have a fun time, learn the basics of rock climbing, and get some exercise, this short trip will be perfect for you. Just send me a request, come to Steyregg and let the climbing begin!
I also offer a full day rock climbing adventure near Traunstein in Germany, close to the Austrian border.

My passion for the mountains starts early in my life. At age 10 I summited Dachstein, the highest mountain in northern Austria the first time. But it took 6 more years to get me into climbing at age 16. Since then I haven't stopped climbing.
Since 2012 I have been self-employed as a climbing Guide. I became a fully-certified mountain guide in 2016.
I love how my guiding work has taken me to special places like Patagonia, Lyngen and Lofoten but also very much enjoy working in the Alps and climbing well-known peaks such as Dachstein, Großglockner, and Mount Blanc.
I will be happy to guide you on your next mountain holiday. I'll try to make it a satisfying and safe journey to the summit and back to the valley!

I very much enjoyed the trip. I had wished to do this trip for more than 20 years. Unfortunately I cought a virus a couple of days before we headed for the peak. To this very day I still dont feel ship shape, but still though, much better. Stefan is a fantastuc guide, and I felt safe all the way up and down. The weather forcast was bad for the 24 th of july in the afternoon, but became shitty 2-3 hours before forecasted with thunder and lightening in one go several times. We agreed to leave the peak after an approximately 10 minutes rest in order to reduce the impact of the increasingly bad weather. The decision was right, no discussion what so ever between the two of us. Stefan is utter professional. In stead we had a good rest at Herzug Johann hutte. We luckily made it safely all the way down, even though the via ferrata part to and fro the Herzug Johann hut was tiny bit slippery on the way down due to rain. I will most definitely recommend Stefan to other trekkers, and would be delighted to do another trip with him next year. Sincerely regards Rolf Norman Windheim Sørensen

Very nice trip to the summit. Great guide with a lot of knowledge, and fast to adjust since we had a bit of a misunderstanding. Fast and good response every day of the week. I would highly recommend going with Stefan.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
