Trekking tour in Picos de Europa, Spain – La Hermida Gorge

Join me on this 4-day exciting trekking program in Picos de Europa, in northern Spain. Picos de Europa is part of the beautiful Cantabrian mountians. On this tour we will trek along the La Hermida Gorge.

This program will take us to gorgeous mountain villages like San Esteban de Cuñaba, Tresviso, Bejes and La Hermida. In order to get there, we will hike on ancient trails used by the shepherds in this area already 3,000 years ago.

We will also walk by and across beautiful beech, oak, oak and holly forests.  Another element that makes this tour different and special is spending the nights in remote cottages.

Given that it includes technical passes, and the wilderness of the terrain, this program is not suitable for beginners.

Groups for this program are private groups and between 4 and 10 hikers.

The equipment you will need for this tour includes: three layer system clothing, lantern, proper footwear (trekking shoes or boots), thin gloves, food for each day, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, trekking sticks, thermal t-shirt and waterproof jacket.
