Switzerland is undoubtedly one of the top destinations when it comes to winter sports. Its dazzling valleys and fantastic resorts make it a winter paradise. It is also home of vibrant cities and fascinating culture. However, it guards many other secrets, such as the Via ferrata in the Mauvoisin Gorge, near Verbier.
Explore Switzerland beyond its amazing skiing resorts, cosmopolitan cities and enchanting towns. Give yourself the chance to discover this place during summer and autumn, where a fresh air and hypnotizing colors will accompany our journey.
Reach unexpectedly high altitudes and enjoy breathtaking views of the area around Verbier on this Via Ferrata. Its more than 600 meters will keep your energy up. It consists of several bridges along with two sections. First one is about 250 meters long. And the second one has over 350 meters of longitude. We can negotiate both independently or consecutively.
“Saxifrage” is the first part that crosses a small suspension bridge, and has more than 320 rungs and cables. Also, it has a K3 level of difficulty (quite difficult). And only children 8 years and older can participate.
Then, “Tichodrome” is the second section, which requires a good fitness level and a love for the heights. We’ll require more effort and concentration, to pass its two suspension bridges, followed by a long band of rock. This part has a K4 (difficult) classification.
