The Vincent Pyramid is a beautiful mountain in the Aosta Valley of Italy, and one of the IFMGA-certified guides in the Peakshunter team wants to lead on a 2 day ascent to its summit.
The Vincent Pyramid (4,215m) is a stunning mountain in the Pennine Alps in the Aosta Valley. This wonderful peak is part of the Monte Rosa Massif (4,634m). It was first climbed by Johann and Joseph Vincent in 1819. Thus providing the peak with its name.
The summit of the Vincent Pyramid lies entirely in Italy. It is also another example of a spectacular peak that isn’t overtly difficult to climb. The approach to the summit is fairly straightforward, and while there are a few difficult spots, it is nonetheless a great climb, even for beginners.
From the summit, while breathing in the crisp, mountain air, you will get to enjoy fantastic views of the whole Monte Rosa massif. You will also get to see several enormous glaciers, including the Piode glacier and the Lys Glacier.
The Ascent and subsequent descent will take 2 days. The first day will involve a 2 to 3 hour trek from Gressoney to the Refuge Mantova (3,470m). The second day will involve a 5 to 6 hour climb and descent of the Vincent Pyramid.
The landscape around the Vincent Pyramid is stunning. The climb is easy. And the trip takes only 2 days. It is not often that so many advantages line up in such a perfect package. However, that is what I consider this adventure to be, a brief, memorable, easily accessible, perfect package in one of the most gorgeous mountain ranges in the world.
If that sounds like something you want to be a part of, send me a message, and let me guide you to the top of the Vincent Pyramid.
If you want to enjoy another 2 day adventure in the Alps of Italy, I can also guide you to the top of the Gran Paradiso mountain on this trip.
It is recommended that you bring warm clothes, a harness, walking shoes, crampons, ice axe, sunglasses, sunscreen and a camera.

Fantastic people and very good guides. I did with them Dufourspitze Cresta Rey, Piramide Vincent and Punta Giordani Soldier\'s Ridge and Lyskamm Sella Ridge. They do what they promise and get you to the summit.
Elis is a conscientious guide, in love with the mountains, who listens to his clients and avoids unnecessary risks! A pleasure to discover the mountains and local products with Peakshunter. We did together Dent d\'Herens, Castor, Pyramide Vincent, Viso, Pain de sucre du Grand St Bernard, Grand Paradis.
