Come and spend 2 days climbing the famous Gran Paradiso peak in the Italian Graian Alps with one of the IFMGA-certified guides in the Peakshunter team.
The Gran Paradiso (4,061m) is the smallest of the 4000 metre peaks I offer trips to, but that doesn’t make it any less spectacular. One of the highest peaks in the Italian Graian Alps, the Gran Paradiso is the only mountain over 4000 metres that has the entirety of its summit within Italy. The national park where the peak is located is also named after it, as well.
The view of the Gran Paradiso is amazing from any vantage point. But the view from the summit of this mountain is absolutely stunning. And from its pinnacle you will immediately see how much it has earned its name, as you will be able to see a great deal of the gorgeous Alps, including the nearby, legendary Mont Blanc (4,810m).
The Gran Paradiso is considered one of the easiest of the Alps’ 4000 meter peaks to climb. However some mountaineering experience is needed because the final ascent has some rocky terrain.
On day 1 we will spend 2 to 3 hours walking up to the Refuge Vittorio Emanuele (2,584m). On day 2 we will make the exciting climb to the summit of this beautiful mountain before making our way back down. The climbing time should take between 8 to 10 hours, including the descent.
The Gran Paradiso is a magnificent mountain. And because of the relative ease that comes with climbing it, its magnificence is readily accessible. I know that over the course of 2 days you will come to appreciate and admire this peak just like the countless others who have scaled it before you.
Please send me a message if you want to join me to the summit of this amazing peak.
I also offer a 2 day climb of Mont Velan located on the border between Italy and Switzerland.

The guided tour (fitness level and experience) does not fit the description on explore-share.com. The guide was very in hurry for both ascent and descent and he was on phone call most of the time.

The whole package was extremely well put together, and Silvia and Gio were good hosts. I would have liked there to be more learning opportunities during the trip - climbing and trekking techniques, orienteering, technical movements etc. Whilst we achieved the objective of going up and down, I didnt feel like there was much else added around this. A programme of additional skills would be nice, Other than that, would highly recommend!

We just remember now the breathing, the view and the joy we had in Gran Paradiso accompanied by our guides Silvia and Elis. This kind of memory makes us smile and look for the next adventure. Silvia and Elis were attentive, kind and professionally fully prepared to help us reach a great experience of discovery and safety. For sure the moment would not be the same without our guides. We feel grateful and lucky to have their support and company. Elis, Silvia, thanks for taking us beyond.

We were guided by PeaksHunter in a Gran Paradiso ascent, and it was memorable! We just would like to thank Silvia and Elis for the wonderful trip we\'ve experienced with their guidance. The communication and organization before and during the trip was clear and detailed. We felt completely supported and safe accompanied by Silvia and Elis. Thanks for clarify all our questions and help us very kindly mainly considering our lack of experience in trips like that. At supermarket, the ride to the park, the lunch before we start, during the trail, at meals in the mountain, at all these moments we had great company and support. This was our first ascent in this altitude and Silvia and Elis demonstrated be professionals very experienced and high skilled. We appreciate the way they enjoy the nature in a respectful and safe manner. They were attentive to the minor details regarding our security and also our experience. We are lucky to have had you as our guides. The best photo we took it is not enough to express how good is the feeling to be at this point in the mountains and appreciate pure nature. We saw landscapes completely new for our eyes in a memorable experience. Silvia and Elis, thank you very much. We really appreciate our time in Gran Paradiso and we feel lucky to be guided by you. Absolute most professional and at the same time “fun” and lighthearted guide I have ever come across. The food the whole time on the mountain was amazing too - I could not speak any higher of Elis and Peakshunter Mountain Guides in the Italian Alps 🇮🇹

Elis is a conscientious guide, in love with the mountains, who listens to his clients and avoids unnecessary risks! A pleasure to discover the mountains and local products with Peakshunter. We did together Dent d\'Herens, Castor, Pyramide Vincent, Viso, Pain de sucre du Grand St Bernard, Grand Paradis.

We had a great experience with Giulia on Gran Paradiso. Ended up climbing La Trescenta and only doing the glacier below Gran Paradiso - my decision - the kids were not as strong as I had hoped and the 11 hours for the full summit would not have worked. However we had a great few days. Can’t wait to do another trip and will absolutely ask for your help again.

Highly recommend this trip! We cannot praise our guide enough! Gigio was fantastic!! The trip up Gran Paradiso is a beautiful walk in a completely unspoilt valley. We stayed in the Chabod but at 2750m which had everything we needed with decent food. The climb turned out to be difficult due to the conditions but our guide did everything he could to get us to the top. Thoroughly enjoyable 2 days!

Peaks Hunters were brilliant from the point of first contact. They took care of every last detail from planning the trip to providing all the mountaineering equipment. On the mountain our guides were amazing. Positive, confident, good company and with safety always at the fore front. They set the pace and made sure as many of our group as possible hit the summit. Thank you so much to the Silvia, Elis and the team. Will definitely be using you again

The guide himself was really nice, as was the Hut. No wifi or cell service there for those who need that ?. We did not take the summit because of worsening weather conditions. So we shall be back later this year for another attempt. Really nothing one can do about the weather anyways...

We swapped over to mt Rosa because of weather conditions, wich was really nice too. the only thing of notice might be that you could give a better idea of the extra things that we need to pay eg. the hut or extra equipment. It would just be nice to kinda know how much things will cost before starting.
