The Western Tatras are a group of mountains in the Tatras range, lying on the border between Poland and Slovakia. Join me for 1 or several days and experience some exciting ski touring in this beautiful region!
These tours are suitable for all levels. I will take you to different spots according to your skills and experience. We will enjoy some great ski tours and descents in a wild quiet area of amazing natural beauty.
If you want to join me for several days, we can stay in a hut and ski different peaks, coulouirs and valleys nearby. There are two huts where we can stay during these ski tours: the Žiarska hut, in the southern region, and the Chatazverovka hut, in the northern side.
Please note a guide is absolutely needed in this area for a safe ski touring experience, as this is an avalanche-prone region.
Do you want to come on a ski touring adventure in this great section of the Tatras? Then send me a request and we will start plannning this trip together! I also guide freeride skiing tours around Chopok, in the Low Tatras range.

Mountain Guide
I was born in Poprad and I live, work and relax in the High Tatras. I have been climbing in this region for 15 years both in summer and winter.
Since 2001 I am a professional rescuer with a completed Bachelor education in Urgent Medical Care. Furthermore, I work in The Experts Mountain Rescue Service (in High Tatras) as an avalanche specialist.
In 2009, after passing the entrance examination for mountain guiding, I started the roundabout course. In April 2010, I became a mountain guide aspirant in the National Association of Mountain Guides of the Slovak Republic.
In 2011, during the final course in Chamonix - Mont Blanc (France) I successfully completed the course of mountain guide during four days of tests, under the strict supervision of Technical Commission NAHVSR instructors. Since then, I am a mountain guide with the IFMGA / UIAGM international license.
Thanks to this job (and hobby) I am pleased to expand the horizons of my clients and share with them my knowledge and experience as a mountain guide.
