Located in northwestern Italy, the Aosta Valley is a region where via ferrata has developed rather recently. Nowadays there are many varied via ferrata routes in the area, of different difficulty levels and in unique landscapes.
Summer is the ideal season to practice this safe and protected climbing. The longest via ferrata in the Aosta Valley is Bethaz-Bovard, which is over one kilometer long. It is conveniently divided in 4 sections and it is one of the preferred via ferratas in the region.
