Description

This 1-day hike and via ferrata to Borelli Hut in Val Veny will take you to one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Italian Alps.

The Borelli Hut (2325 m) is also known as the Bivouac de la Noire. It was built in 1923 and completely renewed in 1969. It’s located in the incredible Val Veny, which is a lateral valley on the south east of the Mont Blanc massif, very close to Courmayeur.

The hut is at the base of the Aiguille Noire de Peuterey and to get there one of our highly trained mountain guides will take you through a quiet challenging and exposed hike and via ferrata. But our guides are experts and know the area perfectly, so we’ll take care of your safety.

The program will start at Courmayeur, where we’ll meet, and then drive to Purtud village in Val Veny. From here on you’ll live on of the most gratifying mountaineering experience in the Alps.

It will be a 5 or 6 hours walk up and down. With a total altitude gain of 900 meters.

So send us a request to make this 1-day hike and via ferrata program to Borelli Hut in Val Veny your next amazing adventure!

We did a 1 day Ferrata with Marica. We've both never climbed a Ferrata before but we are both good hikers. We enjoyed our trip very much and you don't need to be a climber. Marica took good care of us and she is very informative with the local geography and history. We felt very safe with her. If you are traveling near the Dolomite and want to try something a bit out of your comfort zone, I highly recommend doing a ferrata especially with Marica. We did both ferrata ra gusela nuvolau and ferrata-averau. It took us about 6 hours.
