Nacido y criado en Rishiri, será un placer mostrarte esta remota y exótica isla ubicada en el norte de Japón!

Con un perímetro de solo 60 kilómetros, la Isla Rishiri se encuentra a unos 20 kilómetros de la costa noroeste de Hokkaido. Dado que no hay telesillas pero la nieve aquí es legendaria, Rishiri es el destino perfecto para el snowboard fuera de pista.

El monte Rishiri (1721 m) se erige en el centro de esta pequeña e isla circular. Este volcán dormido también es conocido como Rishiri-Fuji por su parecido con el pico más famoso de Japón. Mientras exploramos este asombroso volcán y varios otros picos, utilizaremos motonieves para cubrir las largas distancias planas y pieles de foca cuando necesitemos subir.

Durante esta aventura guiada de 3 días, iremos donde las condiciones de nieve y clima sean mejores pero, lo más importante, organizaré este programa dependiendo de los deseos y el nivel de experiencia de los participantes. Ya que habrá 2 guías, dividiremos en dos grupos (ya sea por nivel o por grupos de amigos).

En cuanto a nuestro alojamiento, los participantes son bienvenidos a hospedarse en mi propio albergue. Un lugar acogedor y tranquilo donde podrás relajarte en los baños termales llamados onsens mientras disfrutas de deliciosa comida japonesa casera. ¡Una gran oportunidad para explorar la cultura japonesa y sus tradiciones!

Ten en cuenta que no hay tiendas de alquiler en la isla, así que por favor lleva todo tu equipo contigo, incluyendo tu baliza de avalancha, pala, sonda, tus crampones y piolet.

Deberás llegar a la isla de Rishiri la noche anterior y se recomienda partir el día después del tour.

Como seremos 2 guías ejecutando el programa, dividiremos el grupo por amigos o por nivel.

Precio: el precio en el momento de la reserva depende del tamaño del grupo en ese momento. Si el tamaño del grupo cambia en el día actual, entonces la diferencia será reembolsada (si hay más clientes) o deberá ser cubierta por los clientes (si hay menos clientes).

Puedo ayudarte con el transporte desde la terminal de ferry o el aeropuerto hasta el albergue. Los participantes podrán venir en avión, lo que solo tomará 45 minutos desde Sapporo, o en ferry (1:40 hr) en caso de que vengas desde Wakkanai.

Tenga en cuenta que habrá un costo adicional como se detalla a continuación que debe pagarse directamente a mí en el lugar:

Impuesto de Onsen: JPY 150 por persona por noche, si te hospedas en mi casa de huéspedes
Costo de motonieve: JPY 1,000-3,000 por persona por día dependiendo de la ruta elegida para el día

Punto de encuentro

Puedes volar desde el Aeropuerto de Okazu de Sapporo al Aeropuerto de Rishiri o desde el Aeropuerto de Haneda a Wakkanai Aeropuerto, desde donde puedes venir a la Isla Rishiri en ferry desde Wakkanai. Si vienes en ferry, podremos recogerte en la terminal de ferry de forma gratuita.

I was born on the island of Rishiri in 1969. I still live here today! Since my childhood, I have spent most of my time in the sea, going fishing, and in the mountain going skiing. I’m a ski guide (level 2) from the Japanese Mountain Guide Association. I’m the only one on the island. I have reached the summit of Rishiri more than 500 times… It’s my great pleasure to guide here and let people from all around the world discover this beautiful island all year round. We had an amazing experience on Rishiri, perfect snow, good weather and a guide who knows the island like his pocket. The very steep slopes and the overwhelming nature satisfied every wish we had. We have been looking for a guided tour avoiding the normal tracks on Hokkaido and then saw the pictures of the floating mountain. And definitively the adventure included. We went to the southern part of the island, as Toshi-san knew that there would be the best snow conditions. The first 5km we have been toed in by a snow mobile and then climbed up a several times, riding different gullies each time. Toshi-san is an amazing person, always happy, friendly and very welcoming. As said before, he knows every bit of the island and guided accordingly bringing us to breathtaking places. We all would and will totally recommend him to friends visiting Japan. The reality was much better than expectations! We had some concerns regarding the weather conditions and difficulty but got lucky with the weather and never felt that Toshi chose a route too difficult. Rishiri is a floating mountain! Steep like in the Swiss alps, but just one single mountain, which makes the it much more imposant. On the sunny day, we could see the Sibirian mainland. What are your top 3 memories during the trip ? Riding very steep slopes in perfect snow, Toshi-san with his warm and welcoming attitude, and the travel to get there and back

Our two guides have been really great and showed us the beauty of Rishiri and Rebun Island by sharing their knowledge and passion. We did learn a lot about the flora on Japan's most Northern islands! Rishiri-Zan was a great, pleasant summer hike and must be beautiful and fun for ski touring in Winter time. thanks again!
