The Monte Rosa massif lies between Piedmont and the Aosta Valley in Italy and the Swiss canton of Valais. It is the largest and second highest massif in the Alps. The massif has many peaks, several of them over 4000 meters, that create an outstanding scenery during a hiking trip in the area. If you go for a multi-day hike, you will get the chance to explore the different valleys and charming mountain villages. The most likely starting points where you will meet your guide for a hike around Monte Rosa are Zermatt or Alagna Valsesia. Explore-Share only promotes mountain trips led by certified guides.
