Pointe Walker (4208 m) is the highest peak of the mountain. The north face of the Grandes Jorasses, located on the French side, is one of the three great north faces of the Alps, together with the north faces of the Matterhorn and the Eiger. I went on a three day multi pitch climbing tour with Pere and asked him to teach me the relevant rope and safety skills. It was fantastic! Pere was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He immediately zeroed in on my skill level and was encouraging throughout the whole experience. I had a wonderful time and felt like my climbing really progressed under his guidance. Highly recommend.
