This Monte Rosa climbing program is ideal to tackle several 4000-meter peaks and train your mountain climbing skills.

We will be in a glacial environment in the stunning Monte Rosa massif. The program is progressive, each day will prepare us for the next.

First, we reach the Mantova refuge easily with the help of the cable car. The hut will be our base at the heart of Monte Rosa. During these 3 days of mountaineering, we will cover the basics of crampon use as well as high mountain safety techniques. Then we will attack the emblematic 4000s of Monte Rosa.

This program is adequate for eager beginners. Although it doesn't involve great difficulty, you are advised to have some experience walking with crampons and hiking in the mountains carrying your backpack with some gear in it.

In order to join this trip it's important to be in good shape and fit, but it's ok if you are beginners about technical skills. It's a long walk so if you are sporty and with hike experience you can do it. Expect to be on the go for 6 to 8 hours per day with approx 900 to 1300 m ascent/descent.

From there we set off to the Mantova mountain hut where we leave our bags. A glacier workshop near the mountain hut enables us to go over basic mountaineering techniques.

Today’s aim is the Punta Gniffetti (4554 m). This climb is not to be missed out on and offers spectacular views of the Monte Rosa summits.

Last day in the Monte Rosa area, we climb up the glacier to the beautiful Vincent Pyramide (4215 m), a nice and easy route to progressively get into the mountaineering universe. This climb is not to be missed out on and offers spectacular views of the Monte Rosa summits.

We head back to the mountain hut to grab our stuff and make our way down to Gressoney.

3-day mountaineering tour in Monte Rosa

The **Alps** have been for a long time the world’s best spot to do mountaineering. There are hundreds of possibilities in these mountains and all these in an outstanding environment.

We can leave together for either one or several days. We will select together an itinerary based on the activity (rock / ice climbing, via ferrata, mountaineering, glacier hike…) you would like to do, also your health, technical level and the time you have for the trip.

It will be my great pleasure to show you the way in the Alps, make sure you come back home safely but also to share with you my passion about the outdoor.

If it’s your first time, then I will teach you the basics. On the other hand, if you are more experienced, you know most probably what you want to do, what you want to achieve, the summit or the wall you want to climb. Therefore, we will discuss about your plans together and define something tailor made. I will make sure your time with me in the mountains become unforgettable memories.

I come for the Aosta Valley in Italy and I know this region very well but we can of course go to other areas… Let’s just talk about it and define the best spot to go based on what you want to do!

#### **The 3000 meters peaks**

Day 1: Go up to Refuge Deffeyes 2494m. 2 to 3 hours walking  
Day 2: Ascend the peak, 7 to 8 hours (go and back)

##### **Le PETIT MONT BLANC 3424 m**

From the bottom of Val Veny, we will walk to the lake and then climb to the bivouac Rainetto at 3046 m. One last effort and we set foot on this beautiful peak of the Alps with a breathtaking panorama.  
7 to 9 hours walking (go and back).  
Difficulty: F (Facile = easy)

##### **AIGUILLE DE TOULA 3538 m**

We go to the Palud where we take the cable car that leads to the Pointe Helbronner. Then we go up the Aiguille Tula.

Day 2: Ascend Punta Kurz and traverse to Mont Brulé, 8 to 10 hours (go and back).

Day 1: Leave Valpelline Bionaz to go up refuge de Crête Sèche, 2 to 3 hours walking.

##### **GRAN PARADISO / LE GRAND PARADIS 4061 m**

Day 2: Climb Grande Paradis, 8 to 10 hours (go and back) .

Meeting in Cervinia. Take the lift till Plateau Rosa (3480m). From there, climb Breithorn and go back through the same way.

##### **POLLUX 4091 m**

Day 1: Go to Champoluc in the Val d’Ayas, with a taxi, we reach Pian di Verra. Walk up to Refuge Guides d’Ayas (3420m), 2 to 3 hours walking

Mountaineering in the Alps with a guide

Located at an altitude of 4,554 meters (14,941 ft), on top of Punta Gniffeti peak, the Margherita Hut is one of the most famous mountain huts in Europe and a mountaineering objective in itself.

On this 2-day adventure, we will climb to this historical mountaineering spot in the Monte Rosa massif and enjoy wonderful views on the way. We will set off from Gressoney and take a lift to our starting point. From there, we will hike for 2 hours to the hut where we will spend the night, either Gniffeti Hut or Mantova. At dawn, we will set off for the Margherita Hut and return the same way we went up.

In terms of skills and fitness level, keep in mind that this is a beginner mountaineering program, so no special technical skills are required. However, a good fitness level is a must. Day 1 will take 2 hours of hiking but at an altitude, and we will sleep over 3600m. On day 2, it will take us an average of 4 to 5 hours to go up and then 3 to go down. Additionally, the ascent will take place at night and at a high altitude. Therefore, it is essential that you are prepared to walk long hours on the mountain. Of course, the rewards from the summit will be worth it, and I will be there to guide the way!

We will reach Punta Indren using the lifts and then, after more or less 2 hours of hiking, we will arrive in Gnifetti hut (it's also possible to sleep in Mantova hut, 100 meters lower).

We will start very early in the morning, in the darkness, and hike on the Lys glacier until we reach the Lys pass and finally, Gnifetti peak, where the Margherita Hut is built.

Join me on this adventure through some of the most beautiful mountains in the world: the **Alps**. During this 2 day trip, we will climb three stunning peaks in the **Monte Rosa** Massif: **Pyramid Vincent** (4,215 m.), **Punta Gnifetti** (4,549 m.) and **Balmenhorn** (4167 m).

Come with me on this journey. I promise you will feel like you are walking amongst the clouds. You will contemplate everything that the **Alps**, the most extensive mountain range in Europe, have to offer. You will be dazzled by all the natural beauty that surround this region, from colossal mountains to humble flowers.

The spectacular **Monte Rosa Massif** is located right at the border between **Italy** and **Switzerland**. This mountain has a unique character, as it is one of the tallest guardians of this region.

Our first trek and the beginning of our adventure, will be the perfect way to acclimatize. We will climb **Pyramid Vincent**, a mountain that lies entirely within Italian territory.

**Pyramid Vincen**t is just one of the many wonderful things that will be waiting for you. We will also reach another unique destination, the highest shelter in Europe, **Cabanne Margherita** (4,549 m.).

**Pyramid Vincent** and **Cabanne Margherita** won’t be the only places you see. I will take you as well to **Punta Gnifetti** (4,549 m.) and the **Balmenhorn**, also known as Cristo delle Vette ( 4,167 m.) That means we will reach an altitude of over 4,100 meters in just two days.

Join me in this **7-day ski touring program in Aosta Valley**. We will cover the most beautiful valleys, and if the conditions allow we will **climb and ski Mont Blanc down!**

A really tough week to enjoy **the best 4000 mt** in Aosta Valley with skis. This program is dedicated to very good skiers with a good training. If conditions will be good we’ll climb and ski down **the magic Mont Blanc north face**.

Excellent physical conditions are required and light equipment as well for ski touring.

The climbing of Mont blanc is subject to good mountain conditions (stable snow, good weather and weak winds at the top). This program is studied to **maximize the probability of success in climbing Mont Blanc summit**.  
The mountain guide can decide to change program at the last moment according to unfavorable mountain conditions or clients not in shape enough.

**Proposed Itinerary:** 

**Day 1)** Pont Valsavaranche – Overnight Vittorio Emanuele refuge (2730 mt)  
**Day 2)** Vitt. Emanuele Refuge – Gran Paradiso (4061 mt) – Down to the valley. Overnight in Hotel  
**Day 3)** Gressoney valley. Climbing Punta Giordani (4046 mt). Overnight in Mantova refuge (3500 mt)  
**Day 4)** Mantova refuge – Punta Gnifetti (4554 mt) – down to the valley. Overnight in Hotel  
**Day 5)** rest/spare day  
**Day 6)** Climbing to Gran Mulets refuge (3050 mt) or Cosmiques refuge (3600 mt) according to clients fitness and mountain conditions.  
**Day 7)** Mont Blanc ascent (4810 mt) – ski Mont Blanc north face and down to the valley (8-11 hours totally)

The first 4 days one mountain guide is enough up to 4 clients. Mont Blanc is 1:2 ratio maximum

The **Regina Margherita hut (4,554m)** in the **Alps** of **Italy**, atop the **Punta Gnifetti** is famous for a variety of reasons. Not only is the hut named after an **Italian Queen, Margherita of Savoy,** but it is also the highest building in all of **Europe**!

With a building having so many accolades, it would be difficult to see it living it up to them. However, in the case of the **Margherita hut**, it absolutely does. The views from this small, yet famous building are stupendous. You will have the chance to see valleys and glaciers below, as well as beautiful peaks all around, including **Mont Blanc (4,810m)**.

On this **2 day trip**, we will take an easy route from the ski lifts of **Alagna**. After the ski lift ride to the **Indren glacier (3,275m)**, we will walk to the **Mantua refuge (3,498m)** where we will spend the night. On the next day, we will make the **1000 metre journey** to the **Margherita hut**. The exciting, scenic trek will include passing through, or near, the **Lys glacier** and the **Grenz glacier.** Finally, with **Parta Parta** on the right hand side, we will head up the last, steep slope until we reach the hut.

Once we reach the hut, you will be given plenty of time to admire and appreciate the undeniable views. Afterwards, we will make our way down the same way we ascended.
