Follow me on an incredible adventure in the **Aragonese Pyrenees, Spain**. During four days, we’ll follow the circular path around the Posets massif in the **Posets-Maladeta Natural Park**. Get ready!

The Posets-Maladeta Natural Park is in the **Province of Huesca, Aragon** and is home to some of the highest summits in the Iberian Peninsula. It is also rich in flora and fauna, home to bears, otters, chamois, deer, wild boar and large birds. So keep your eyes open and you might spot some of these.

The stunning path we’ll follow offers outstanding alpine views. We’ll get to enjoy views of the **Perdiguero and Perramó** and visit some dazzling mountain lakes. The trail connects three mountain huts, where we will spend the night and enjoy the incredible views. For more information about the itinerary, you can read the section below where we give a more detailed description of what we’ll be doing each day.

We’ll start at the Estós Parking Lot and ascend through the **Estós Valley**. Along the way, we’ll see the Perdiguero, the **Gorgas Galantes** and the Turmo cabin. We’ll spend the night at the Estós Hut (1,890 m).

**Distance**: 8.5 Km. **Elevation gain/loss**: + 650m. – 50 m.

We’ll follow the **GR-11** through **Puerto de Chistau** up to the Biadós Hut.

**Distance**: 11.7 Km. **Elevation gain/loss**: + 775m. – 950 m.

Estós Hut - Biadós Hut

Our path will take us by the Lakes of **Millars** and **Llardaneta**.

**Distance**: 11.3 Km. **Elevation gain/loss**: + 1,180m. – 800 m.

Biadós Hut - Ángel Orús Hut

We’ll go by the lakes of **Batisielles** and descend through the Estós Valley.

**Distance**: 14.2 Km. **Elevation gain/loss**: + 700m. – 1,500 m.

Let me invite you on an exciting adventure ascending 5 3,000-meter peaks in two valleys of the wonderful **Posets-Maladeta Natural Park**. Located in the **Aragonese Pyrenees, Spain**, this wonderful protected area is ideal for unique adventures through exhilarating paths with stunning views. Join me!

The Posets-Maladeta Natural Park gets its name from the **Posets** and **Maladeta massifs.** It is a truly magical place where you will find most of the 3,000-meter peaks of the Pyrenees. On this trip, we’ll ascend the peaks of **Aragüells** in the **Vallibierna Valley,** and the **Picos Gías** and **Claravides** in the **Estós Valley**. The ascents will give us unforgettable views of the whole park, and of beautiful mountain lakes and will allow us to go through wonderful paths through thick forests. For more information on the itinerary, you can read the section.

Located in the Province of Huesca, in northeastern Spain, the Posets-Maladeta is a natural park created in 1994. It encompasses the Benasque Valley, which hosts the **highest peaks of the Pyrenees and lots of scenic forests, lakes, glaciers and waterfalls.**

On this half-day activity, **we will adapt our pace to the kids** and explore this fascinating area. **Kids will learn how to use snowshoes and how to orient themselves in the mountain**. We will look for animal tracks and traces, listen to some Pyrenean legends, and we can also build an igloo!

Half-day family snowshoeing and nature adventure in the Pyrenees

Would you like to explore the amazing Posets-Maladeta Natural Park in winter? Then join me for this **half-day snowshoeing experience**!

**The Posets-Maladeta is a natural park in northeastern Spain that encompasses the highest peaks of the Pyrenees**. Located in the Province of Huesca, Aragón, it also hosts about 13 glaciers, 90 lakes, and an endless number of waterfalls.

On this half-day outing, we will **explore stunning alpine terrain** with lush forests, lakes, waterfalls, glaciers, and the highest mountain of the Pyrenees: Mount Aneto (3403m). In addition, we will **visit pastoral cabins** and **get to know the Pyrenean culture while tasting local products!** Keep in mind that I’ll adapt the itinerary according to your skills. It is a **3:30 hour activity  suitable for all adults!**

Half-day Snowshoeing in the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park

Join me on this **4-day hut-to-hut trek** in the heart of the Pyrenees Mountains, in the Benasque Valley in Aragon. The tour takes us around the Maladeta Massif, home to **Aneto (3403m), the highest peak in the Pyrenees**, and of the largest and best preserved glaciers in the area.

Our route runs through **alpine terrain, sometimes steep and rocky**, through the skirts of some of the most emblematic peaks, like Tempestades, Vallibierna and Maladeta, among others.

For four days, we will be **hiking through forests, high-mountain lakes areas**, Ibones, and landscapes that will immerse ourserlves in the heart of the Pyrenees. It is a wild environment that offers high mountain nature in its purest form: flora, fauna, lakes, glaciers, geology, enjoying a unique trek!

Along these days, we will be staying overnight in mountain huts: Cap de Llauset, Conangles and Renclusa. Bear in mind this is a medium diffculty level trek, but it is physically demanding, so y**ou need some mountain trekking experience and a good fitness level** to join it.
