##### For 18 amazing days, I would like to guide you from Kathmandu to Lukla to Everest base camp to Gokyo and back!

The views, the feelings, the sheer magnitude of visiting **Mount Everest (8,848m)** is an experience nobody could ever forget. In the heart of the **Himalayas** in **Nepal**, there is so much you can see and do. That is why on this trip I would like to give you a varied adventure. So on this trip, we will begin by picking you up at **Kathmandu airport**. From there, you will get not one, but two days to explore the wonderful **Nepalese** capital. We will even take you on a **city tour** on the second day!

Afterwards, you will get to enjoy the famous **Lukla – Kathmandu – Lukla flights**. While **less than 40 minutes**, the views and the experience of these flights are truly truly memorable.

You will get to visit a number of fantastic spots during this trek. Some examples include the following.

*   _Phakding_
    
*   _Khumjung_
    

The main highlights of this trip however are **Everest base camp** and **Gokyo**. In the case of base camp, we will also visit **Kalapatter (5,545m)**, which will enable you to get some great views of the mighty mountain. For **Gokyo**, you will also get to visit the **Gokyo peak (5,450m)** as well.

Since we will be trekking for approximately **4-6 hours a day**, it is important that participants are in **good physical condition**.

After you land in Kathmandu, you will be picked up and transported to the Thamel area of the city. You will spend the night in a hotel.

After arriving in Lukla, we will trek for approximately 2-3 hours to Phakding before arriving at the lodge where we will spend the night.

Rest day in Pheriche for acclimatization

Today we will trek for approximately 4-5 hours to Lobuche. We will spend the night in a lodge.

We will trek for approximately 3 hours to Everest base camp before going to Gorakshep, where we will spend the night in a lodge.

Today, we will visit Kalapatter, where you can enjoy some spectacular views of Everest. After that, we will trek for approximately 5 hours to Zhong La, where we will spend the night in a lodge.

Today we will trek for approximately 6 hours to Gokyo. We will spend the night in a lodge.

Trek to Gokyo via Chola Pass (5,420m)

Early in the morning, we will visit the Gokyo Peak. Afterwards, we will trek for approximately 5-6 hours to Dole. We will spend the night in a lodge.

Today we will trek for approximately 4-5 hours to Khumjung. We will spend the night in a lodge.

#### On this magnificent 17 day trekking expedition, I would like to guide around the Ganesh Himal mountain range.

Full of amazing peaks, including Y**angra (7,422m)**, **Pabil (7,104m)**, **Salasungo (7,043m)**, and many more, this area is absolutely breathtaking. And on this trek, anytime you look up, you will be able to gaze at a number of these incredible peaks.

Along with the stunning peaks, you will also get to visit a number of  wonderful local **Nepalese** villages. And because many of the villages you will see on this trek are located close to the **Tibetan** border, much of the culture you will get to immerse yourself in is distinctively **Tibetan** influenced.

Today we will take a 4 hour bus ride from Kathmandu to Dhading Bensi. We will then trek fro 4 hours to Todke Bazaar, where we will spend the night in lodge.

We will trek for approximately 5-6 hours to Dharka. We will spend the night in a lodge in the village.

Dharka (1,200m)

Today we will trek for approximately 5-6 hours to the village of Jharlang. We will spend the night in a lodge in the village.

Jharlang village (1,300m)

We will trek for approximately 5 hours to the village of Borang. We will spend the night in a lodge in the village.

Borang (1,500m)

We will trek for approximately 4 hours to the village of Chalish. We will spend the night in a lodge in the village.

Today we will enjoy a day hike to the Sertung village before returning to Chalish, where we will spend the night in a lodge.

##### Definitely one of the most impressive mountains in the Himalayas of Nepal, Manaslu (8,156m) is an absolute wonder.

Throughout this **17 day trekking adventure**, I would like to guide you through the beautiful area where **Manaslu** and other spectacular peaks stand tall. A few examples of the other great mountains you will be able to see during this trip include **Himalchuli (7,893m)** and **Nagdi Chuli (7,879m).**

More than the mountains, this trek will allow you to immerse yourself in the fascinating and wonderful culture of the local people. The population of the area are predominantly **Gurung**, a wonderful group of people who are direct descendants of **Tibetan immigration**. We will be stopping in different places every day of this trip. Thus giving you a great opportunity to explore somewhere new. Some of the places we will be stopping include **Jagat, Deng, Ghap, Sama Goun, Samdo, Dharapani** and many more. You will also get to spend a few days exploring the city and valley of **Kathmandu**.

Over the course of the trek, we will be venturing progressively higher and higher, but there will be rest days. Hence giving you a chance to get **properly acclimatized**. However, we will be hiking from **4 to 8 hours per day**. As a result, participants should be in **good physical condition**.
