On this week long trip, you will have a great opportunity to see the glory of Mount Everest (8,848m) in a short amount of time. During this trip you will get to enjoy the famous flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and back. You will also get to visit Namche Bazaar (3,440m). And finally, you will get to visit the Everest view hotel, which will give you some of the best views of the mighty mountain you will ever get. Not to mention, you will also get some time to explore and enjoy the Nepalese capital city of Kathmandu.
Throughout this trek, you will get to admire not only Mount Everest, but several other magnificent peaks in the Himalayas. And when you reach Namche Bazaar, you will get to interact with the area’s lovely local people. Considered the gateway village to Everest and the rest of the area’s great peaks, Namche Bazaar is a great place to visit. And on this trip you will get to spend 2 days there, which will also get you properly acclimatized. Hence giving you the chance to shop, explore, taste the local cuisine, and experience the amazing culture. Moreover, at the top of Namche, you can visit the Sherpa museum, while also getting some extravagant views of Kongde Ri (6.187m) and Thamserku (6,608m).

Along with the guiding fee, the price also includes airport pick-up and drop off, 2 nights accommodation in a hotel in Kathmandu, accommodation in lodges during the trek, meals, flights to and from Lukla, porters, and permits. However, the price does not include international airfare, drinks, insurance, and gratuities.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu
After arriving at Kathmandu airport, we will pick you up and take you to your hotel in the Thamel area of the city where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Lukla (2,827m)
Today we will fly to Lukla and then trek for 3 hours to Phakding where we will spend the night in a lodge.
Day 3: Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
We will trek for approximately 6-7 hours to Namche Bazaar, where we will spend the night in a lodge.
Day 4: Explore Everest View Hotel
You will get the chance to admire Mount Everest today from the Everest View Hotel. Afterwards, we will visit Khumjung Sherpa. We will spend the night in a lodge in Namche Bazaar.
Day 5: Lukla
We will trek for approximately 4-5 hours back to Lukla, where we will spend the night in a lodge.
Day 6: Kathmandu
Today we will fly back to Kathmandu. You will then get to explore the city and spend the night in a hotel.
Day 7: Departure
We will take you to the Kathmandu airport, where you will catch your flight home.

Participants should bring the following items with them on this trek: trekking boots, warm socks, gaiters, loose casual trekking pants, thermal leggings, waterproof trousers, thermal shirt, various t-shirts and long shirts, fleece jacket, down jacket, windproof jacket, wool or fleece hat, sleeping bag, one liter water bottle, toilet items, towel, and a camera.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
