Would you like to explore a breathtaking area in Argentina? Then come to Patagonia and **hike with me to Laguna de los Tres, a stunning spot in El Chalten.**

El Chaltén is a mountain village in Santa Cruz. Lying at the foot of Cerro Torre and Cerro Fitz Roy peaks, **it’s known as the Argentina’s Trekking Capital**. Laguna de los Tres is one of its most famous destinations.

For this day outing we will first meet in El Chalten. Then, once we are ready, we will go to the Fitz Roy path and start hiking. **We will cross awesome spots such as Laguna Capri and the Poincenot and the Rio Blanco base camps**.

**After hiking around 10 kilometers (about 8 hours), we will reach Laguna de los Tres**, a scenic lagoon which offers **panoramic views of Fitz Roy, Saint-Exupéry, Poincenot, among other impressive mountains in the area**.

Our route is easy but intense: **you don’t need hiking experience but you do need a good fitness level**.

**Are you looking for a thrilling and scenic hike in Patagonia?** Then join me on this 1-day outing and discover the amazing Laguna Torre, in El Chalten.

**El Chaltén is a beautiful town in Santa Cruz, Argentina, with lots of hiking attractions**. It is located within the Los Glaciares National Park, which hosts the biggest ice cap outside of Antarctica. **Laguna Torre, 10 km west of the village, is one of the highlights of the area**. Formed by glacier water, this awesome lagoon offers panoramic views of the Andes.

After meeting in El Chalten, we will start our hiking adventure. **This route crosses an amazing forest with incredible vegetation**. It is an easy 10 km hike that we will complete in about 7 hours. At the end, **we will reach Laguna Torre where we will appreciate its stunning landscape.**

Additionally, keep in mind that this trek doesn’t require advance hiking skills. However, **you do need a good fitness level**. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you!

**If you want to live a unique alpine experience in Patagonia, this trip is for you**. Join me on this full-day ascent to Cerro Madsen in El Chalten!

El Chaltén is located in Santa Cruz, Argentina. With its hiking, climbing and mountaineering possibilities, this scenic mountain village is very famous among outdoor adventures lovers. **The ascent of Cerro Madsen (1806m) is perfect for beginners who want take a step further in their hiking.** 

After meeting in El Chalten, we will drive to the trailhead. **Our hiking route crosses beautiful spots** like the Fitz Roy Campsite, Laguna de los Tres. Once at the summit of of Cerro Madsen, we will discover **breathtaking views of Mount Fitz Roy and Piedras Blancas Glacier.**

Although you don’t need mountaineering experience, you will need to have a good fitness level. Y**ou should be prepared for 12-14 hours of hiking**. Furthermore, depending on the weather conditions, we may find some some snow. Therefore, **we will probably need crampons, ropes and ice axe.**
