Are you looking for a thrilling and scenic hike in Patagonia? Then join me on this 1-day outing and discover the amazing Laguna Torre, in El Chalten.
El Chaltén is a beautiful town in Santa Cruz, Argentina, with lots of hiking attractions. It is located within the Los Glaciares National Park, which hosts the biggest ice cap outside of Antarctica. Laguna Torre, 10 km west of the village, is one of the highlights of the area. Formed by glacier water, this awesome lagoon offers panoramic views of the Andes.
After meeting in El Chalten, we will start our hiking adventure. This route crosses an amazing forest with incredible vegetation. It is an easy 10 km hike that we will complete in about 7 hours. At the end, we will reach Laguna Torre where we will appreciate its stunning landscape.
Additionally, keep in mind that this trek doesn’t require advance hiking skills. However, you do need a good fitness level. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you!
