Come with me on an adventure to the Laguna de Los Tres in El Chaltén in beautiful Patagonia. Together we’ll spend the day hiking and passing stunning lakes, glaciers and impressive mountains as we hike to the laguna.
We’ll meet at El Pilar Hostería in the morning for the start of our trip. If you would like I can organize a transfer for you from your hotel. It’s important that you are properly dressed for hiking and have good hiking shoes. The weather can be very changeable in Patagonia and the wind can be fierce. We’ll also be hiking across ground that is uneven, so your running shoes won’t cut it!
This hike is not extremely difficult but it will begin with a steep section and we will face some more of these sections as we progress. We’ll stop at the Laguna Capri, Poincenot Camp and Rio Blanco along the way. There we’ll be able to enjoy the exceptional views of the mountains.
When we reach the Laguna de Los Tres we’ll have the perfect spot to take it Mont Fit Roy in all its beauty. We’ll take some time to rest here and enjoy the beautiful nature before we start our return.
We’ll be hiking for nine hours and cover around 10 km in that time with an altitude gain of 700 meters.
This is a must-do hike for your trip to Patagonia. Get in touch today to sign up!

I moved to El Calafate in 2001 and very soon I started practicing mountain activities, including rock climbing, skiing, hiking and trekking. In 2007, I began to work in the mountains as an assistant guide in Perito Moreno.
I finished my trekking guide course in 2011 and then, in 2015, I completed the following course to become a Mountain Guide.
I manage Zetatrek, a guiding company offering hiking and trekking trips in El Chaltén and Los Glaciares National Park. I work together with a group of guides, so if I'm not available to guide you, one of my colleagues will do it. All the guides in the team are professionally certified, and hold the required permits to guide.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
