I have been a mountain guide since 1990. I started going to the mountains since I was very young. I was a competitive skier and covered most of the most challenging classic routes of the Dolomites and the Mont Blanc. I am an IFMGA-certified guide and I have also worked as a mountain rescue volunteer and helicopter rescue technician in 1985. Some say that my greatest gift is patience and practicity. Personally, I look for a good and harmonic relationship with people, to allow my clients to enjoy a satisfying mountain experience.

On this **5-day program**, I would like to invite you discover some of the best via ferratas in the **Rosengarden Group** in the Dolomites.

As you may know, the **Dolomites** is one of the most incredible places to enjoy via ferrata. On this opportunity, we will take a route every day and conquer a different summit in the range. We will combine an amazing sportive activity with the excitement of reaching the top of the mountains and admiring its views.

At the end of the day, we will also have the pleasure to see the gorgeous sunset lights on the Rosengarden Group. Finally, we will rest and share a delicious local meal in the refuges of the mountains.

Please, take a look below for a more detailed description of each day activity.

Regarding difficulty, keep in mind that we will spend **4-5 hours** per day on the activity and face an elevation gain not higher than **900 meters**. The level of this program is **difficult**, so it is mandatory to have **prior via ferrata experience** and a **very good level of fitness**.

First of all, we will meet at 8.30 am in Ciampedie (Pozza di Fassa) and go across the Vial delle Feide to Cappana Pederiva, where we can share lunch. Then, we will take the via ferrata that will lead us to Roda di Vael (2,806 meters) and then descend from P.so del Vajolon to the Fronza Refuge (2,337 meters). Here, we will spend the night.

On the second day of the program, we will take the via ferrata Santner to the Passo Santner and admire the fantastic sight of the Vajolet Towers. Our accommodation will be in the Rifugio Re Alberto or in the Rifugio Vajolet.

On the third day, we will ascend through the Vajolet Valley to P.so Principe and go for the Catinaccio d’Antermoia via ferrata. Night in the Antermoia Refuge.

On this day, we will depart from the Antermoia Lake and take the Laurenzi via ferrata to the Molignon di Fuori (2,780 meters). Then, we will descend to the Alpe di Tires Refuge, where we will spend the night.

On our last day, we will go for the Maximilian via ferrata to Cima di Terrarossa (2,655 meters) and descend to Val Ciamin. Finally, we will head back to Val di Fassa at 4 pm and end our program.

The challenging Cesare Piazzetta via ferrata takes you to the **Piz Boè summit (3152m)**, the highest mountain in the Sella Group, enjoying a spectacular view on most of the Dolomite peaks.

This via ferrata is rated as “difficult”. The path is physically demanding on the first section, and involves an elevation gain of 800 meters, so you need a good fitness lovel to join this climb. 

**We will meet at 8.30 am at the Passo Pordoi.** After a short briefing we will check the equipment and then the via ferrata adventure begins. The itinerary goes through **vertical walls and suspended bridges i**n the first 100 meters, and then gives a little break, continuing up to gravel and ledges up to the top of Capanna Fassa (3152 m).

The refuge on the top of Piz Boè is one of the highest in the Dolomites. From the summit, you will get an amazing panorama view of the surrounding mountains. We will be back at the Pass Pordoi at about 4.00 pm.

Ascent to Fanes Hut meeting point and welcome by your mountain guide in the early afternoon at the Pederü Hut in the St. Vigil Valley.

Training and warm-up tour to one of the surrounding peaks. Before we ascend our first peak, we start with a small but very important training session in avalanche transceiver search. Afterward, there's nothing stopping us from reaching our first summit. As a warm-up tour, we ascend one of the surrounding mountains, depending on snow and weather conditions.

During the ascent, you will receive plenty of tips from your mountain guide. From  
the summit, we can enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the Dolomites and the Fanes Group, and we can take a look at the goals for the next few days.

After the tour, you can relax in the Finnish sauna.

 Snowshoe hikes around the Fanes Hut After breakfast, we set off on our tour. Each mountain has its own peculiarities.

The "Col Toronn" and "Col Bechei Dessora" are rewarding destinations, and of course, the "Monte Castello" with its striking rock structures should not be missed, just like our top goal of the week, the "Sasso della Croce", which we ascend via its long ridge. (If we need a more relaxing day, we will ascend to the Sennes Hut, where unforgettable views of the "Croda del Becco" and "Croda Rossa" await us.)

Final tour and descent Today, we will tackle another summit as the culmination of our snowshoe week, starting from the Fanes Hut.

Afterward, we will descend to the valley, bid farewell, and begin our journey back  
home in the early afternoon.

We will start and end our program in **Val di Fassa**. Every day of this adventure, we will go for a different via ferrata and conquer a different summit in the Catinaccio group in the Dolomites.

On day 2, we will go for the via ferrata Santner to the Passo Santner and contemplate great views of the Vajolet Towers. Night in the Rifugio Re Alberto or in the Rifugio Vajolet.

We will go through the Vajolet Valley to P.so Principe and take the Catinaccio d’Antermoia via ferrata, to the top of the tallest peak in the Catinaccio Dolomites (3,002 meters). Descent to Gardeccia and return to Val di Fassa at 5 pm.

Follow me on this **1-day program** and discover the **Via Ferrata delle Mesules** from the **Sella Pass** in the **Dolomites**.

Our adventure starts in the **Sella Pass** at an altitude of **2,218 meters**. First of all, we will meet at **8 am** in the **Pian Schiavaneis restaurant**. Here we will have a brief and check the equipment.

On this via ferrata, we will face steep and challenging sections. After the first part, we will reach the top of **Piz Gralba** (**2,954 meters**). Then, we will begin the descent through the **Sass Pordoi** mountain and **Val Lasties** until **Pian de Schiaveneis**. There, a car will be waiting for us to take us back to the Sella Pass at 4 pm.

As I mentioned, this program can be demanding, so take into account that you should have some **prior via ferrata experience** and a **good level of fitness**. We will face an elevation gain of **600 meters**.

The Cesco Tomaselli via ferrata belongs to the history of the challenging ferratas of the Dolomites. From the Falzarego Pass, it reaches the **Cima Fanis Sud (2980m)** following a path between smooth slabs, steps and suspended ledges.

This via ferrata is **rated as “difficult”**. The path involves an elevation gain of 400 meters, so you need to have a good fitness level and previous via ferrata experience to join it.

**At at 8.30 we depart from the Lagazuoi cable car to the Falzarego Pass.** After a short briefing we will check the equipment and then the via ferrata adventure begins. We will be back to Falzarego Pass at about 17.00h. The cable car takes us around the Forcella Grande, which is reached in about 30 minutes. With our harnesses on we start our via ferrata. 

From the top of the aerial Cima Fanes we will get a s**pectacular panorama views over the Dolomites**. Then we will begin the descent, following a simpler equipped route that in about 30 minutes leads us to the Fanes saddle (2820m), and from there to the Falzarego Pass.
