We couldn’t have had a better experience with Misho as our guide for our Mt. Kazbek ascent! For our entire three-day expedition, he was friendly, informative, and gave us lots of advice on all things Georgia, even beyond mountaineering. The entire process was very smooth. From pre-trip communication, to meeting up in Stepantsminda on day one, to getting gear we didn’t have, to making accommodations at the Bethlemi Hut, he was super helpful with all the logistics and also spoke great English. We felt safe and confident with him as our guide, and learned a ton about glacier travel. Standing on the summit of Mt. Kazbek was really special for us and something we’ll remember for the rest of our lives! Grateful to have had Misho there to help make this experience possible.

Misho was an amazing guide. He was very skilled and made me feel safe, by sharing his knowledge I learned a lot. He was very friendly, funny and had a lot of amazing stories to tell. If you want a guide to take you up to Kazbek, pick Misho. Most importantly he knows the mountain well, and also he knows everyone on the mountain, too. He will do his best to get you to the top - by his advice, we were able to change the start of the tour by a day, so it would fit the weather window and he indeed got us to the top. He shares his knowledge and experience freely and his communication style is jovial and direct, so it was easy for me to form a trusting relationship. To me, it was an entry into higher altitude mountaineering, and if you are in a similar situation, I can recommend him to you without any reservations.
