I am Mikheil Nadiradze Professional Mountain Guide. I was born in 1991 and live in Tbilisi, Georgia. I started mountaineering from an early age and have not stopped since then. Since 2011, I was studying in ATS (Adventure Tourism School) and at the same time working as a mountain-Helliski-ski tour guide and ski teacher in Caucasus Mountains-Resorts. I was a member of the Georgian Climbing National Federation for many years and have a lot of achievements in competitions. After 2020 I'm fully certified IFMGA/GMGA mountain guide. We did not get Mikheil (Misho) but his brother (Tato) and someone else (Gurami). Tato and Gurami have a lot of experience, were funny, gave amazing tips, were very kind, helpful and checked multiple times if the pace was suited for everyone. Could not have wished for a better encounter with mountaineering like this! Bring enough cash and check videos of basecamp to prepare suited to your expectation. 5

Alex and Misho very professional guides. Misho shared lots of tips pre trip for gear, what to expect, getting fromTbilisi to Kazbegi etc. Would definitely recommend. We had to turn back before summit due to very bad weather- Alex was calm throughout and got us down safely :)5

Important: Mikheil Nadiradze was not our guide. Due to an injury, he could not guide us. But he kindly arranged for other local and accredited guides to conduct our hike. Mikheil was extremely helpful in all ways and I am sorry we did not have him to guide us.3
We did not feel safe all the time during the trip due to another group that didn’t listen to the guide when he told them to cancel the climb and go back down because they are risking other people’s safetiness. Also even though we had one guide for us three only we had to wait all the time for the other group which cost us overall probably 2hours more then it would if we would have gone on our own. Two days before the trip the booked guide told us he is sick and referred us to a different guide where we had no proof if he is a certified guide or anything. He did a decent job but he helped us with renting the missing gear and we had to pay way more then the official price list that was shared before the trip. We felt a bit scammed since we planned the trip with the price list shared before and then had to pay much more for everything.2

We couldn’t have had a better experience with Misho as our guide for our Mt. Kazbek ascent! For our entire three-day expedition, he was friendly, informative, and gave us lots of advice on all things Georgia, even beyond mountaineering. The entire process was very smooth. From pre-trip communication, to meeting up in Stepantsminda on day one, to getting gear we didn’t have, to making accommodations at the Bethlemi Hut, he was super helpful with all the logistics and also spoke great English. We felt safe and confident with him as our guide, and learned a ton about glacier travel. Standing on the summit of Mt. Kazbek was really special for us and something we’ll remember for the rest of our lives! Grateful to have had Misho there to help make this experience possible.5

L’expédition n’était ni trop facile ni insurmontable : il faut surtout être prêt mentalement et garder en tête que c’est la montagne. En revanche, l’expérience avec les guides et le reste du groupe était tout simplement magnifique (un grand merci à eux !). L’équipe a su trouver le bon rythme et maintenir une super ambiance tout au long du séjour. Ils ont fait preuve d’un grand professionnalisme tout en restant très accessibles, comme des amis, avec toujours de bons conseils et une vraie envie de transmettre. Je recommande vivement !
