##### Join me on this splitboarding trip and let’s explore **Chopok and Deres**. These two peaks are not just the tallest in the **Low Tatras**, but two of the most iconic and beautiful in **Slovakia**.

This is an **open itinerary** trip. So, it means that we can arrange it for **as many days as you want** to explore this region. It also means that I will be taking into consideration not just your time, but the places you want to visit.

Moreover, I will suggest the **ideal spots**, based on your **skill level**. If you have **a lot of experience** **splitboarding**, I will take you to places where you can **challenge yourself**. But, if you are a **beginner snowboarder**, we can tackle **more comfortable** ascents and descents, so you **gain more confidence**.

One of the spots we can visit is **Jasna**, in the north side of **Chopok.** This **ski resort** is the **largest** in **Slovakia**, and offers options for all kinds of **snowboarders**.

However, if you want an adventure **outside the resorts**, we can explore other sections of the **Tatras**. Let me guide you through a **wilder** and more **remote** area, so you get to experience **everything nature has to offer**.

Some of the freeriding spots we can visit are **the central Dresden boiler** and **the West Dresden Boiler.** We can also explore **Luke Valley** and **the main Dresden boiler.**

**Do you want to explore a beautiful ski area in the Slovakian mountains? Then join me for some days of exciting freeride skiing in Skalnata valley!**

**Skalnata valley** is a well-known skiing area in the eastern part of the High Tatras mountains. Besides, it’s next to **Lomniky Peak (2634 m),** the second highest peak in Slovakia.

**Tatranská Lomnica**, a famous and well-equipped ski resort, is also located at the entrance of this valley.  To the east of the valley, you’ll find the massif of **Huncovsky Shield.**

You can join me for one or several days of freeride skiing, exploring wild and quiet spots around Skalnata valley. Each day, I’ll take you to the best places according to the snow conditions and your skill level. There are options for everyone, from beginners to more experienced skiers.

Unlike the Alps, there are very few lifts in these area, so you’ll enjoy an intimate immersion in nature.

**Chopok and Deres are two of the highest peaks in the Low Tatras, a section of the Tatras mountain range. Still an under-the-radar ski destination, it’s the best place to venture for a freeride ski adventure!** 

On the north side of Chopok lies **Jasna,** the largest ski resort in Slovakia offering breathtaking views and exciting slopes for skiers of all levels.

However, we’ll be exploring a quieter and wilder section of these mountains. With an easy access, we’ll reach several great peaks for a freeride skiing adventure. This is an exciting opportunity to enjoy a true immersion in nature.

You can join me for a 1 or several-day ski trip. Each day, I’ll take you to the best spots depending on the snow conditions and your skill level.

Here are some of the best freeriding areas we can explore:

As regards snow conditions, the northern sides of Chopok and Deres receive less snow at the beginning of the winter season (December). Generally, the best conditions can be found from January to March.

Besides —while it’s not a very risky area— you’ll need to have an avalanche equipment.

**Discover, one of the most mesmerizing places for winter sports in the world: the Skalnata valley in the High Tatras, in Slovakia.**

Have you ever imagined yourself surrounded by magnificent mountains in **Slovakia**? Can you picture all the **beautiful spots** this country guards? Would you like to reach some of the most remote and **stunning places** for **snowboarding**? Join me then, on this **freeride snowboarding trip**!

The **Skalnata valley** is a very famous snowboarding and skiing area in the eastern part of the **High Tatras mountains**. It is also located right next to the second highest peak in **Slovakia**: **Lomniky Peak (2634 m).**

One of the places we can visit in the **Skalnata valley** is **Tatranská Lomnica**, a very famous ski resort, entering the valley. Then, east of the valley, we could also explore the **Huncovsky Shield massif.**

Additionally, one of the advantages of the Skalnata valley, is that, unlike the **Alps**, there are not many lifts here. Thus, you will get to enjoy a more intimate immersion in nature, **away from the crowds**.

Please note that this trip has an **open itinerary**. So you can join me for **one or multiple days** of **freeride snowboarding**. And, I will take into careful consideration your **skill level** as well. This means, we can adapt the places we’ll visit, based on your requests. For instance, we could tackle a **steeper descent** if you are an **advanced snowboarder**, so you can challenge your skills. But, if you are just **beginning to practice** this amazing sport, I can take you to places **equally fun but more comfortable**, so you descend at your own pace.

**Lying on the west of the High Tatras mountains, Mengusovska Dolina (also known as Mengus Valley) is a very exciting ski destination.** 

Between sharp peaks and narrow valleys, you will be able to experience the quietness and wilderness of the High Tatras.

You can join me for 1 or several days of guided ski touring on the slopes of **Mengusovska Dolina.** One of my favorite things about this area is that we can reach amazing peaks with an easy access. 

Each day, I’ll chose the best location according to the snow conditions, your ski level and your objectives for the trip. This is a suitable place **either for beginners and for more experienced skiers.**

There’s often enough snow for skiing in January or February. However, if you’d like to tackle heavier runs (which require more snow) or west-oriented runs, you should better come during March or April.

This valley lies on the eastern side of the High Tatras, a mountain range on the border between Slovakia and Poland. Even though it’s a popular destination all-year-round, in winter it turns into a very exciting playground for skiers.

I propose to go there for one or several days of ski touring. With an **easy access**, we can reach several great peaks. Unlike the Alps,  there are very few lifts here, allowing an **intimate contact with nature.** You’ll be able to experience the wilderness and quietness of the High Tatras in this trip!

The **best time for a ski trip** in Mala Studena valley is from January to mid-May. You will find plenty snow in the southern slopes, rather than the western slopes.
