Want to learn about ski-touring and avalanche safety in the **Jotunheimen Mountains** in **Norway**? Then I have just the experience for you. Come with me on a three-day trip where we’ll teach you everything you need to know about ski touring.

Safety is our number one concern so we’ll start the trip by going over the theory of **ski touring and avalanche safety training**. Then in the evening we’ll eat a hearty locally sourced meal and get to know one another.

Day two is where we’ll get to experience the slopes. I’ll help you out with your technique and we’ll put into practice everything we learned the day before. This will involve using **alpine hiking equipment** and seeing how avalanche safety awareness works in a practical setting.

After a day on the slopes, we’ll head back to the cabins for more delicious food. There may even be time to warm up in a hot tub. We’ll finish the day in front of a **warm fire.**

We’ll make the most of the time we have on the third day to get back on the slopes and practice our technique. Then we’ll all say our goodbyes.

Come with me as we explore the beautiful area of **Brimiland** in southern Norway, nestled in the **Jotunheimen Mountains.** We’ll spend the day exploring it on **electric bikes** as we take in the wonderful autumn colors of the region.

Autumn colors e-bike tour in Brimiland, Norway (Jotunheimen)

Come with me on a hiking trip to the **Store Svartdalspiggen** in Norway. We’ll leave from the  **Gjendesheim cabin** and make our way to this beautiful mountain, nestled in the Jotunheimen Mountains that form part of the Scandinavian Mountains in southern **Norway.**

In order to get to our start point, we’ll take a ferry from Gjendesheim to **Svartdalen**. This is a stunning valley in the mountainous **Jotunheimen** area. We’ll explore this beautiful valley as we walk, taking in the beautiful scenery that surrounds us.

We’ll get great views of **Store Svartdalspiggen** as we walk upwards towards it. If weather permits, we’ll hike to the summit at 2,174 meters. This is an endurance test and a really fun hike. When we reach the top, we’ll stop for lunch and then we’ll really be able to appreciate the beauty of the valley around us.

If the weather is not great, we’ll choose another path to follow that is lower down. There are so many awesome hiking trails here so we’ll be spoiled for choice.

After a day of exploring, we’ll head to the dock again to take the ferry back to **Gjendesheim.**

Day trip to Store Svartdalspiggen (2,137m) in Norway from the Gjendesheim cabin

Join me on an awesome three hours of **kayaking** in the **Jotunheimen Mountains** in southern Norway. This is an awesome way to learn how to kayak or improve your kayaking skills in a fun, relaxed environment. You also get to enjoy the sights and sounds of these stunning Norweigan mountains.

We’ll start out by going over the basics of kayaking and running you through safety training. We take this really seriously and want to make it the best experience for you.

Then, we’ll take to the water! This will either be on the stunning, turquoise **Gjende Lake** or the magical **Øvre Sjodalsvatnet Lake.** Both of these have flat-water so this trip is really great for beginners too.
