I have been rock climbing and mountaineering for over 30 years. I started when I was younger, when I also traveled a lot all over Europe, Scandinavia, Asia, North Africa and North America. I love to climb on rock, snow or ice. I have experience in very diverse locations, from small rock gardens to high mountains in different parts of the world.  
I have climbed in the High Tatras, Yosemites, Alps, Dolomites, Caucasus, Alborz/Iran, Cordillera Blanca/Peru and many other areas. I am currently working as a certified-IFMGA mountain guide.

### **For 3 exciting days, I would like to guide you on a ski mountaineering adventure in Mala Fatra, Slovakia.**

Our trip will begin at the **Chata pod Chlesbom**, which is where we will also be spending the night. Throughout the trip, you will get to ski mountaineer on the **Chleb (1,646m)**, which is the third highest peak in the **Mala Fatra**.

On the second day of the trip, you will get to spend an entire day enjoying thrilling descents on the **Maly Krivan (1,671m)**, which is the second highest peak of the **Mala Fatra**.

Finally, on the third day of the trip, you will get to ski mountaineer on the **highest peak in the Mala Fatra: Krivan (1,709m)**.

By ski mountaineering on three incredible peaks, you will get to enjoy not only fantastic skiing, but also exceptional views. Furthermore, because the peaks you will be skiing on are not gigantic, this trip is a great opportunity for less experienced ski mountaineers to learn new skills, while also improving upon the ones they already have. We will instruct you on several techniques during the trip. Those techniques include the **basics of skiing, equipment usage** and **avalanche awareness and safety skills**.

Participants on this trip should be in **good physical condition**.

There is something special, something magical about climbing to the summit of the highest mountain in any country. The feeling you get while standing atop what feels like the entire nation is indescribable. That is why I am happy to offer this opportunity to climb to the summit of **Slovakia’s highest mountain, Gerlach (2,655m)**. Moreover, you can do this incredible climb in **just a single day!**

Located in the sensational **High Tatras Mountains of Slovakia, Gerlach** is a tremendous peak. And while, its height might pale in comparison to some of the world’s largest mountains, make no mistake, this is still a mighty peak, full of the same challenges and exquisite views found on any great peak.

**Gerlach** offers several different ways to its summit. The more popular and easier route is by ascending along the **Velika Probe and descending by the Batizan Probe**. However, for more experienced climbers there is also the **Gipsy’s Ferrata or Martinovka**. Thus providing you with a wonderful variety that you can take advantage of based on your skill level.

In order to participate on this trip, you should be in **good physical condition.** Prior mountaineering experience is advantageous as well.

While not the highest mountain in **Slovakia**, the **second highest peak in the country**, **Lomnicky (2,632m)** is still a fantastic climb. And, during this trip, you can do the ascent and descent in a **full day**. Thus giving you plenty of time to do much more either before or after the climb. And trust me when I tell you, in the **High Tatras of Slovakia**, where **Lomnicky** is located, there is plenty to do, see, explore and enjoy.

This trip is open to people of **varying climbing skill levels**. The reason being, there are different routes you can take both up and down the **Lomnicky peak**. For example, for more experienced climbers, you can challenge yourself on **Jordan’s route from Terry’s Cottage**.

Regardless of which route you choose to scale this great **Slovakian** peak, you can rest assured that the views you will get to enjoy from the summit are extravagant. You will get to see several of the **High Tatras**’ most famous peaks, including the **highest peak in Slovakia: Gerlach**. You will also get to marvel at the vast landscape below, including several beautiful valleys, rivers, forests and more.

To participate on this trip, it is important that you are in **good physical condition**. Prior climbing experience is important as well, particularly if you wish to try the more challenging routes.
