Are you looking for a different winter adventure? Then join me for this ice climbing trip in the High Tatras, Slovakia!

The High Tatras are a mountain range in northern Slovakia and southern Poland. When the temperatures fall below 0°C , the waterfalls of the area turn into ice, offering an amazing opportunity for climbing experiences!

On this tour, we can start with the basics of ice progression and avalanche risk management. After dealing with some 20-meter frozen walls, we will be ready for a more challenging spot!

Keep in mind that you can join me for one or several days. Furthermore, you don’t need previous ice climbing experience. No matter if you are a beginner or an expert, I’ll find the perfect route for you, and I’ll be there to help and guide you every step of the way!

Mountain Guide

I have been rock climbing and mountaineering for over 30 years. I started when I was younger, when I also traveled a lot all over Europe, Scandinavia, Asia, North Africa and North America. I love to climb on rock, snow or ice. I have experience in very diverse locations, from small rock gardens to high mountains in different parts of the world.
I have climbed in the High Tatras, Yosemites, Alps, Dolomites, Caucasus, Alborz/Iran, Cordillera Blanca/Peru and many other areas. I am currently working as a certified-IFMGA mountain guide.
