Nestled into the Rocky Mountains, Sinks Canyon boasts hundreds of sport climbing routes just waiting to be explored!

Join one of our certified guides and start exploring some of them with our 2-day sport climbing clinic.

We will meet in Lander City Park each of the two mornings that we are together and head right out into Sinks Canyon State Park in order to get as much climbing as possible in.

The goal is to get in 16 hours of instruction over the two days. We will also try to see the iconic Sinks and Rise, from which the park takes its name.

Located in the Wind River Mountains just 6 miles southwest of Lander, this limestone canyon offers plenty of excellent sport climbing opportunities and you could not ask for a more beautiful spot in which to climb.

It is important to have some previous sport climbing experience prior to booking the trip as we will be working on techniques and skills to take your climbing to the next level.

Over the course of the two days we will go over lead sport climbs and proper lead belay technique, cleaning anchors, and several other skills.

When we aren’t out on the canyon walls, take some time to explore Lander as well! This former railroad terminus has a few excellent museums that portray what life in the ‘Wild West’ was really like.
