Since 2009 I have been guiding groups through the Pyrenees, from side to side. I am an UIAGM Mountain Guide, and in Spain I work as a high mountain guide, climbing and guiding in mountain skis through the Pyrenees.

I will be happy to accompany and guide anyone who wants to know the Pyrenees in any way, doing trekking, climbing the most rugged summits or skiing through immense territory with the ski.

##### Discover one of the most impressive mountains in the **Pyrenees, Aneto**. Join me on this expedition to reach its summit over a **2 day period**.

Standing at **3,403 meters**, **Aneto** is the highest mountain in the **Pyrenees**. It is located in the **Posets-Maladeta Natural Park** in **Spain**, in the **Benasque** municipality, within the **Huesca province**, **Aragon** in **Spain**.

Also, within the park, there are many other majestic peaks such as the **Posets Peak (3,371m)**, **Punta d’Astorg (3,355 m)**, **Pico Maldito (3,350m)**, **Mount Maladeta (3,312m)**. But it is the **Aneto Peak** the one that stands out and is the most emblematic.

The **Aneto Peak** forms part of the **Maladeta massif**. On its north side, at **2,810 meters**, lies the biggest glacier in the **Pyrenees**, with an  impressive extension of over **100 hectares**. Then, at the top of the mountain three more glaciers reside: the **Aneto glacier** to the north, **Barracos** to the northeast, and **Coronas** to the south.

**Aneto** maintains its surface in an almost **impeccable conservation state**. Making it one of the most wonderful places you can visit in **Europe**.  Two days might just be enough to see all the wonderful things the **Aneto peak** has to offer. But I’ll show you all the highlights and my favorite spots. For instance, we’ll trek our way up through the **Estasen Corridor**. And I promise that **standing at the top of Aneto** will be an experience you’ll never forget.

Please note you don’t require previous experience to join this trip. However, it is a plus if you are used to mountainous environment.

**Mallos de Riglos is one of the most famous rock climbing regions in Europe**. This trip is your chance to **try its awesome routes under expert guidance,** join me!

Located in Aragon, Spain, about 45km (28 mi) northwest of the city of Huesca, **the Mallos de Riglos are a set of rock formations rising to 300 metres**. Surrounded by a beautiful landscape, they are located at the foothills of the Pyrenees.

On this half-day rock climbing tour, we will discover one of these amazing spots, the **Rabadá – Navarro al Fire, Murciana, Mosquitos and Normal del Puro**. Mallos de Riglos offers us endless opportunities to climb on different types of rock: **granite, conglomerate and limestone!**

Please note that for this tour **you should be able to climb Vº sport routes**. Furthermore, it is necessary that you be of legal age or that you have the corresponding permission to join this program.

**Monte Perdido (3,355)** is the third  tallest mountain in the **Pyrenees**. It shares borders with **France** and **Spain**. But its summit it’s located in spanish territory, north of the **province of Huesca**.

This magnificent mountain forms part of the **Monte Perdido** mountain range. And it is located within the **Ordesa** and **Monte Perdido National Park,** in the community of **Aragon**. There are four gorgeous valleys in this park. **Ordesa** stands to the southwest, **Añisclo** to the south, **Escuaían** to the southeast and to the east **Pineta**.

Within the park and the **Monte Perdido mountain**, we’ll find countless majestic and unique species. There are over **3,500 different plants** we can find in the **Pyrenees**. From those, less than **150** are able to survive at altitudes of **3,000** or more meters. And **95** have been located in the **Monte Perdido Massif**.

The easiest access to reach its summit is through **Spain**. The route begins near the town of **Torla in Aragon** right at the heart of the **Ordesa Valley**. Then, it ascends the mesmerizing **Cirque de Soaso**, heading towards the famous **Refuge of Góriz**. Our ascent to the top of **Monte Perdido** will be through the **North Face**.

At the **North Face** we’ll find one of the last glaciers that still exist in the **Pyrenees**. This stunning glacier is one of the most iconic places in **Monte Perdido**.

**Monte Perdido** is one of the most popular ascents in **Europe**. Due to its unique formation it is a relatively easy ascent. Hence its popularity amongst the **3,000+ peaks**. Moreover, this mountain is included in the **Biosphere Reserve of Ordesa-Viñamala** declared as such by the **Unesco in 1997**.

##### Do you want to explore one of the most beautiful parts of Spain? Join me on this trekking expedition in the **Irati Jungle in Navarra**.

The **Irati jungle** in the **Pyrenees**, is in reality an **enchanting forest**, so thick it paints green everything it touches. It’s the second biggest beech and fir mountain forest in Europe. And it extends over **17,000** of almost **virgin hectares**.

There are several **magnificent mountains** that surround the **Irati Jungle**. Some of the most prominent ones are the **Orzanzurieta** and **Roncesvalles** to the west, and the **Orhi** to the east. And to the south, stands the **Abodi** mountain range. 

The efforts to preserve the **Irati Jungle**, have turned it into an incredibly protected area, restoring all its natural beauty. Trekking through it is a marvellous experience you simply can’t miss.

Also, on top of the **beech and fir trees** there are many other fascinating species that call this place their home. For instance in 2015 there was a **carnivorous plant** discovered here! The **Drosera Rotundifolia** has granted this place an extra protection program for conservation.

Then, we’ll encounter many other curious creatures that inhabit the **Irati Jungle** on our expedition. There are a lot of **deer** here, as well as **roe deer**, and **boars**. But it is also common to find the **edible dormouse**, **marten**, **otter**, **pyrenean desman**, and the **eurasian water shrew**. Additionally we could run into a **woodpecker**, a **black woodpecker** or a **white-backed woodpecker**. And above the sky we’ll have to keep our eyes open to see if we can spot **peregrine falcons** and **royal eagles**.
