Mountain Leader
El Chaltén, Argentina
UIMLA
I am a UIMLA (Union of International Mountain Leader Associations) Guide. I have three years of experience working in the beautiful town of El Chaltén and I have been working as a guide in Bariloche for more than ten years, where I was born. I am passionate about life in nature, transmitting my knowledge of the environment, I also have fun facing the challenges that the mountains propose. In addition to a mountain guide, I work as an environmental engineer and ski instructor.

Pedro was excellent as was our porter and guide Valentina This was our third allocated guide after our first guide Soledad cancelled on us and Yanns had a climbing accident. I was happy with the effort the team made to resolve the situation

Yanic was an excellent guide, he knows the place perfectly. I always felt safe and the meals were delicious. He also took the time to help us with the rental of the equipment we were missing. We will certainly hire him again to show us around Bariloche!

Big big 5 stars, both for the trek as well as for Yanic. The trek is extremely versatile, beautiful and a bit challenging. The views are out of this world. Maybe the best part is that you hardly see other people. There is really nothing Yanic could have done better. He is super friendly, funny, relaxed. He takes great care of your safety and is super easy going, learning us a lot about Argentina but also letting you be. He made our trip completely and would recommend him anytime.

Yanic was an incredible guide - very kind, very adventurous, and he made sure that we got to see special places that are remote and not crowded. He’s also very helpful at accommodating food allergies and we ate very well on our trip!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
