**Combine two incredible experiences during this paralpinism trip, sailing over the incredible mountain landscapes after completing an incredible climb of the Cosmiques Ridge.**

Cosmiques Ridge is an iconic mountain climbing route around Chamonix.  Not only do climbers enjoy tackling the classic mixed route on snow, ice and rock, the views from the ridge are stunning. Looking below, climbers see Chamonix on one side of the ridge; on the other side, the Mont Blanc massif is visible in the distance.  This climb is typically graded AD, and requires some previous climbing or mountaineering experience.

We will get an early start and take the first cable car in the morning, in order to complete the guided climb of the popular Cosmiques Ridge.  Then, after we enjoy the view from the top of the ridge, another adventure awaits.  Next, we will descend to our launch site, so that we can take off and paraglide around the mountains!  During this 30-45 minute flight, your tandem paraglide pilot will fly you around the north side of Aiguille du Midi or near Vallée Blanche.  From the air, you will have a special view of some of the most beautiful peaks in the Mont Blanc massif.  It will truly be an unforgettable experience.

Paralpinism, like all air sports, is very dependent on weather. So if you like to fly and ski, hike or climb you must be ready to change your target at the last minute. I can´t guarantee that we’ll be able to fly but I promise to do my best to make it happen and have a beautiful and safe journey.

a) We set a date, a mountain range and what you like to do!

b) Three days before the set date we make a first review of the weather and check if it will be possible. If it is, we continue with our project. If it’s not, we change the destination (as close as possible).

c) On the night before the trip, we organize the last few details

If we  can complete the climb but are unable to fly, a refund of 150€ will be made. For groups of 1, there will be 1 guide and 1 paraglide pilot.  For groups of 2, there will be 1 mountain guide and 2 paraglide pilot.

1-day Paralpinism Trip: Cosmiques Ridge Climb and Paraglide

**Combine a day of mountaineering in the Mont Blanc massif with the adrenaline of paragliding among its legendary peaks! During this adventure, I will guide you up the 4,000m peak of Mont Blanc du Tacul, then we return to Chamonix by paraglider!**

Mont Blanc du Tacul is an impressive peak of 4,248m that is accessible from the Plateau du Midi and situated between the Aiguille du Midi and the famous Mont Blanc mountain.   Those who make the high altitude summit of Mont Blanc du Tacul are not only rewarded with a great mountaineering experience in the center of Mont Blanc massif, but also, on clear days, panoramic vistas over the French and Italian Alps.

During this program, we will ascend by cable car to 3,000m.  From there, the climb to the summit of Mont Blanc du Tacul will take us about 4 hours.  Once we take in the views from the top, we will unfold the paraglider and take off for our descent.  The view from the air is stunning: as we soar above Aiguille du Midi and the other peaks of the massif, we will have a unique opportunity to contemplate the scale of the mountains and how small humans are in such a vast landscape.  Not to mention the courage it must have taken the first explorers who ventured to climb the massif 150 years ago.  After an hour long flight, we will touchdown in Chamonix, where we may enjoy the remainder of the day in the sunny valley.

In order to participate in this program, you should be acclimatized prior to embarking on this climb.  Additionally, previous experience walking with crampons and using mountaineering tools such as ice axes is required.

**Explore a fun via Ferrata at the foot of the legendary Mont Blanc during this 1-day adventure.  After exploring the alpine scenery by foot, the journey continues with an exciting paraglide flight among the beautiful mountain landscapes!**

There’s an outdoor adventure for everyone in the mountains surrounding Mont Blanc, the tallest mountain in the Alps.  For those not yet ready to make a high altitude ascent of that mountain, why not try this one-day adventure! I will guide you through the fun and exciting via Ferrata Curalla, which will allow you to get a taste of different alpine activities.  The via Ferrata is moderate in difficulty and could be suitable for an adventurous person with no previous mountaineering experience.

After we spend time experiencing the mountains on foot, the second stage of our adventure will begin.  We will then take off from the mountain and soar over the valley! You will have an incredible view of Mont Blanc from the air as I pilot our tandem paraglide.  This is definitely an unforgettable way to experience the stunning alpine landscape and to appreciate the scale and size of the Mont Blanc massif. For an even longer flight, we have the option to continue ascending Aiguille de Varan from the top of the via Ferrata route, and take off below the summit of that peak.

**This paralpinism adventure combines the incredible experiences of mountaineering with the soaring vistas of paragliding!  You will summit a 4,000 meter peak in the Swiss Alps before taking off from the mountain and flying back to town!**

Our journey begins in Interlaken.  From there, we hop on the train that takes us through the tunnels of the Eiger, where we can admire the interior of the legendary mountain. After we disembark the train, we head to the Mönschjoch Hut, where we will rest and sleep before our early 3AM summit push.

Our journey to the summit begins with a gentle glacier walk.  Then, we have an easy climb up rock before we cross a snow covered saddle.  After this, we have two more hours remaining until we reach the summit.  The landscape steepens as we continue, and, depending on conditions, we might have to use belays during certain passages.  For the most part, the terrain is ice and snow, with a few sections of exposed rock.

Once we reach the summit, we will take in the view at 4,158 meters, enjoying our accomplishment.  Then, we prepare for our flight by descending about 50m to the summit of Wengen Jungfrau, which will be our take-off point.  After soaring above the valley for 18km, we touch down in the center Interlaken, which will surely amuse the tourists!

Note that Jungfrau is a steeper and more technical mountain than Allalinhorn or Weissmies.  You should be comfortable walking with crampons and using an ice axe.  In order to participate in this program, you will be required to provide a reference of a similarly difficult peak you’ve climbed.

2 Day Paralpinism Trip: Summit Jungfrau and Paraglide Descent

**Let’s explore two 4,000m peaks in the Swiss Alps! During this 2 day adventure, I will guide you up two of the most accessible peaks in the region: Allalinhorn and Weissmies.  To make the journey even more special, after summiting the mountains, we paraglide down!**

Day 1 takes us to Allalinhorn, a lovely peak in the Pennine Alps of Switzerland.  We ascend via the “alpine subway,” a high-altitude underground train that departs from the village of Saas Fee.  Once the train drops us off on the mountain, we embark on a gentle 2 hour walk up a glacier to reach the summit of Allalinhorn at an impressive 4,027 m.  If the conditions are suitable, we will then unfold our tandem paraglider and take off from the mountain!  We will glide among a panorama that includes the most iconic mountains of the Alps, stretching from the Matterhorn, all the way to the distant Mont Blanc massif.  Eventually, we touch back down in the village of Saas Fee.

For our second ascent, we head to Sass Grund.  From there, we take a lift up to Hohesaas Hut, where we spend the night.  We will wake up early for our summit of Weissmies, a peak of 4,017 m.  After 3-4 hours of climbing, we will reach the summit.  After we celebrate our achievement, we will take off directly from the summit and enjoy a spectacular paraglide descent.  While most climbers spend 3 hours trudging down the mountain, we will be back in the village in less than an hour.

While summits of these two mountains are accessible and suitable for beginning mountaineers, participants should nevertheless have some experience climbing, including familiarity with the use of crampons and axes.  Participants should also be acclimatized prior to setting off on this trip.  I offer this trip all year long, as long as the lifts are open.

**Escape the crowds as you experience the iconic mountain of Aiguille du Midi from the air during this beginner friendly, half-day paragliding trip!**

Aiguille du Midi is a well known peak of the Mont Blanc massif that is especially famous for being easily accessible by cable car.  Riding the cable car starting from Chamonix, you can reach the summit in under 30 minutes.  At 3,842m, standing on the summit of Aiguille du Midi will give you an impressive panoramic vista of the famous glaciers and peaks that surround Chamonix.

While most adventurers explore Aiguille du Midi on foot or ski, during this adventure you will have an incredible opportunity to see the awe-inspiring landscapes of the Vallée Blanche from a whole new perspective.  We will ascend by cable car, then use crampons and a harness to make a slight descent of the ridge to our launch site.  Once we take to the air, you will feel amazed as you soar among the massive Alps from your seat in the paraglider. Our flight will take us among the many magical snow capped peaks around the Chamonix valley. While our exact route will depend on the wind conditions, we have the option to explore the northern side of the mountains, or fly toward the sunny southern side.  Regardless of the route, you will come away from the experience feeling inspired by the grandeur of the mountains.

Aiguille du Midi Tandem paragliding adventure

**Tackle a tall and demanding peak in the Alps during this 2-day adventure!  We will ascend the legendary peak of Dent Blanche on foot and, after we enjoy the views from the top, descend back down to the hut by foot and then continue the adventure with a paraglide descent!**

Dent Blanche, which rises to an impressive 4,357m, is one of the tallest peaks of the Alps and a great climb in Switzerland for experienced mountaineers.  Considered more challenging than the Matterhorn, an ascent of this mountain’s normal route is certain to appeal to those who love mixed terrain, as the climb involves passing through a classic mix of rock and snow over the course of the 2-day journey.

Then, after celebrating the summit of more than 4,000m, most climbers must make a tiring 4-5 hour trek down the mountain after a tough summit push.  But not during this trip! Instead, if conditions allow, we will take off for a paraglide descent, experiencing breathtaking views of the mountain from the air.  It will be an unforgettable finish to an already special climb.  Due to the difficulty of this climb, participants must have past climbing experience bad have already spent time acclimatizing prior to the start of this trip.

Dent Blanche 2-day classic climb and paraglide descent

**Join me for incredible panoramic views during this exciting half-day adventure, as we enjoy an easy climb up Salève and then, if conditions allow, a spectacular paraglide descent of the mountain!**

Nicknamed “the balcony of Geneva,” Salève is a popular destination located in France, but accessible from the Swiss metropolis.  Those who reach the summit are rewarded with incredible views over the surrounding landscape, including a lovely bird’s eye of the city itself.  If the day is clear enough, the view extends all the way to the snow capped peaks of Mont Blanc!  Salève is a popular destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a day and instead take in the beautiful views and fresh air of the surrounding countryside.

During this program, I will guide you as we ascend the beginner friendly mountain of Salève, which includes an easy rock climb (max grade of IV).  We will celebrate at the top as we marvel at the incredible vista.  Then, if conditions are appropriate, we will unfold the tandem paraglide and, together, descend the mountain by  air.  We will soar over the region, potentially flying through thermals or gliding our way to a leisurely descent.  If we’re especially lucky with just the right conditions, it is possible to fly all the way to the French town of Annecy!  No previous experience climbing or paragliding is required to participate in this trip.

Half-day Climb and Paraglide in Salève, near Geneva

**Climbing Mont Blanc, the tallest peak in Western Europe, is an adventure many aspire to achieve. During this trip, I invite you to take that adventure one step further by descending the mountain with me on a paraglider!**

Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps at 4,808 meters, is a classic Alpine climb.  Those who reach the summit are rewarded with incredible views of some of the most beautiful snow-capped mountains in Europe, as well as the accomplishment of having completed a tough ascent.  After reaching the summit, fatigued climbers must typically descend the mountain the usual way, by reversing the route and climbing down.  But not us – after we celebrate our summit, the next phase of our adventure begins.

**Please note that we cannot offer this program during the months of July and August as flying down the south face of Mont Blanc is prohibited during these months.** 

Instead of the usual decent, we will soar back to Chamonix in style!  From the summit, we will launch our tandem paraglide for the return journey by air.   You will have an impressive view of the route you just climbed, as you offer words of encouragement to those still making their way up or down the mountain.  Plus, the descent by paraglide is considerably shorter, only taking 1 hour to land in Chamonix.  This is an incredible way to experience some of the best alpine landscapes in Europe.

The itinerary we’ll follow is considered the “classic” climb, and involves taking a cable car up the side of the mountain, to reduce the distance we have to ascend by foot.  At the summit, we fly down.  The total trip takes 2 days, with one night spent on the mountain.

Participants should already be acclimatized to complete this journey.  Additionally, previous mountaineering experience, including familiarity with the use of crampons and other tools, such as ice axes, is required.

Paralpinism, like all air sports, is very dependent on weather. So if you like to fly and ski, hike or climb you must be ready to change your target at the last minute. I can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to fly, but I promise to do my best to make it happen and have a beautiful and safe journey.

This is how it works :

a) We set a date, a mountain range and what you like to do!

b) Three days before the set date we make a first review of the weather and check if it will be possible. If it is, we continue with our project. If it’s not, we change the destination (as close as possible).

c) On the night before the trip, we organize the last few details

d) We go for it and do our best!

If we reach the summit and it turns out the weather is not suitable for the paraglide descent, we can extend the trip by another day for an additional fee of 450€ (plus accommodations, subject to availability), or we will climb down the mountain without paragliding.
