Join me for a great program to complement your traditional Barcelona visit. On this 1-day tour, I will take you to the famous Costa Brava and its beautiful landscapes, and land of the legendary painter Salvador Dali. This program also has different three route options for different fitness levels and goals.

To begin this program, I will pick you up at your hotel or accommodation in Barcelona. After that, we will transfer in a private van to the starting point of our hike.

This tour takes place on one of the most important natural sites in Spain. Some of the areas covered by it are (subject to the chosen route):

Costa Brava
Serra de l’Abera
the Montgrí hill
Cami de Ronda
footpaths along the Mediterranean sea

On this program, you decide the amount of activity and pace you would like to go at. The goal is for you to make the best of this day, and enjoy yourself. This is why there are three route options for you to choose from:

ROUTE 1 (Levels 1 & 2): Open to everyone! Includes fantastic coast views from Cami de Ronda, right next to the sea. Total hiking time: 2 hours
ROUTE 2 (Levels 3 & 4): Sports oriented – Includes reaching the top of Montgrí towards the beach. Total hiking time: 5 hours
ROUTE 3 (Level 5): Performance-oriented – Consists of long distance hiking from Serra de la Albera to the coast, Creus Cape. Total hiking time: 7 hours

We had a fabulous and unforgettable hike in the Pyrenees with Pere. He is a very knowledgable, safety conscious and experienced guide. He had water, snacks, and gear for us and took some really great pictures during the day which he shared with us. We also made a short stop before our hike for coffee and a snack as he went over the hike we would be taking and showed us a map of the trail and area, which was really nice for orienting us. This is a hike not to be missed, and I would highly recommend going with Explore-Share and not on your own unless you are very familiar with the trails and area.

I was a bit hesitate to book with explore-share as I have never heard of it and am a women traveling alone looking for a hike to do in another country. I am elated I booked with Pere on a full day hike in the Pyreneess. Pere was very nice, funny and professional- he had lots of info on history, culture and of course everything mountainside. He brought snacks and bought coffee which was unexpected but very appreciated- he provided transportation & had lots of extra gear too! He was very good at judging my skill level and pushed me just enough as far as pacing and trail difficulty. I am so lucky to have chosen Pere as a guide! Internally it was a physically and mentally challenging hike; I would not of made it to the top if I was alone. If anyone is hesitating on which guide to pick I would say to look no further and go with Pere. It was the highlight of my trip to Barcelona and will remember it for years to come when looking for extra motivation & momentum on my next hikes.
