Join me for this exciting and informational half-day introduction to ice climbing course near Canmore, Canada!
We will meet up in the morning at either GearUp Mountain Sport and Rentals or the local Rocky Mountain Bagel Co. Once there, we will fit you with your equipment and get cracking.
One of the perks of a course such as this one is that we get to learn while we go. I will show you all the necessary techniques for you to get started ice climbing on some easy pitches.
By the end of the day, you will have some of the basic skills that you need to go on further and more challenging ice climbing adventures.
Because the day is relatively short and the climbing is very easy, this is the perfect adventure for busy vacationers and families!
Once we have concluded our day and said our goodbyes, be sure to head back into the hamlet of Canmore and reward yourself at one of the two local breweries or distilleries.
So what are you waiting for? Book now for this fun and informative half-day introduction to ice climbing in the beautiful scenery of Lower Grassi Lake, near Canmore!

I'm a Full Alpine Guide with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides and an Active Member of the Canadian Avalanche Association.
I has climbed across the lower 48 United States, Western Canada, multiple expeditions to Alaska, and Greece. Calling Canmore home, I feel my best attribute is my passion for teaching and sharing what I have learned over the years of being in the mountains. Combining my mountain experience with my thousands of hours as an industrial rope access tech/supervisor, as well as, being a SAR Rope Rescue Leader, my guests can be assured that they are in good hands.
I holds an Adventure Guide Diploma through Thompson Rivers University, which is one of the world’s premiere adventure tourism programs where students spend two years refining their mountain craft and business skills associated with the adventure tourism industry.
I'm proud to be at a point in my career where I can guide full time and I'm able to share my love of the mountains with my guests. I'm always looking forward to the next adventure and building long lasting relationships with my guests. I'm one of those people who’s passion and love for life is contagious.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
