Join me for one or more days of informative, challenging and rewarding ice climbing in the Cordillera Central near Santiago, Chile!
After meeting in the capital, we will head into this scenic mountain range, eventually arriving at some of the best ice climbing terrain in the Southern Hemisphere.
As you might imagine, the weather in this region is generally pretty cold during this time of year. It’s not usually stormy, however. This means we should be able to spend all day climbing!
During the climb, you will learn new skills and techniques depending on your level of expertise. No prior ice climbing experience is required, but some experience in rope management and a good level of physical fitness are recommended for this trip.
If one day of ice climbing is not enough, you can always opt to extend your tour for another day or two. There is plenty of ice to climb! In this case, we will set up camp nearby and spend the night in the tranquil and scenic Andes.
What are you waiting for? Request to book this fun and informative ice climbing adventure now. You do not want to miss the stunningly beautiful Cordillera Central of the Chilean Andes in the wintertime!
If you like the look of this trip, then we think you’ll be interested in our 17-day climbing traverse in Bolivia’s Cordillera Real as well.
