Lake Como is situated in the region of Lombardy, in the Italian Alps. This area offers many rock climbing options for different types of participants. If you’re looking for a multi-pitch route, I can take you to the Orsi-Bianchi and Placche Solari routes to San Martino. Also, we can choose among the Papini-Solano, the Quarantennale and a via ferrata route in Grona. Additionally, I also invite you to enjoy rock climbing in the following areas: Val di Mello, Val Masino and Val Bodengo, all of them near Lake Como. As you can see, there are many possibilities to choose from.

Mountain Guide

I was born in 1980 in a small town in the northern part of Lake Como and started climbing the mountains behind my house as a child. It is here that this passion was born. When I was 15, I had my first ski touring and climbing experiences. Since then, I have dedicated all my free time to doing mountaineering ascents all over the Alps. My passion has taken me to Peru, Argentina, Madagascar and India, where I opened a new route. Several years ago, I decided to turn my love for the mountains into a profession and I became IFMGA-certified. I specialize in canyoning, rock climbing and I am a member of the Mountain Rescue Team.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
