Join me for an exciting 14-day trek to reach Pikey Peak, one of the highest hills in the Solu. With incredible views, stunning rhododendron and magnolia forest and charming Sherpa villages, this trekking route has it all! Ideal for those that want to experience the Khumbu region.

We’ll meet at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and enjoy a full day of sightseeing in the capital. From there, we’ll drive to Shivalaya, at 1770 meters, from where we will begin our hike toward the Pikey Peak, at 4100 meters.

During the trip, we’ll get to enjoy views of Mount Everest, Mount Kanchenjunga, Mount Manaslu, Mount Gaurishanker, Mount Numbur, Mount Kantega, Mount Thamserku and Mount Karylung.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

We’ll meet at the International Airport

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Sightseeing spots include the World Heritage Site of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the “Monkey Temple” (Swayambhu Nath), and the Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath).

Day 3: Drive to Shivalaya

Day 4: Shivalaya to Bamti

Day 5: Bamti to Bhusunga

Day 6: Bhunsuga to Kingu Gompa

Day 7: Kingu Gompa toTaklung

Day 8: Taklung to Pike Peak

Day 9: Pike Peak to Goli

Day 10: Goli to Bhandar Cholling Gompa

Day 11: Bhandar to Shivlaya

Day 12: Drive from Shivlaya to Kathmandu
