As a result, I am happy to offer this 2-day mountaineering refresher course in the sensational Aosta Valley.

Located in the Alps of Italy, the Aosta Valley is famous with mountaineers from around the world. And, after a single look at this marvelous area it is easy to see why. From the amazing peaks to the vast natural landscape, the valley really is a paradise.

Some examples of what we will go over during this course includes equipment usage, how to walk on a glacier, how to tie yourself, crevasse rescue, snow and ice anchoring, climbing techniques, abseiling and much more.

While this course is open to people of varying skill levels, it is important that all participants are in good physical condition.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
