Description

This 2-day Val d'Aran introductory off piste skiing course will give you the tools to start going to backcountry slopes safely.

Everybody loves to slide down some fresh powder. But to really enjoy it there are some tips that can improve your experience. I'll go over the necessary gear and how to take good care of it. I'll also show you the best way to climb a snowed slope saving energy for the fun part! Please note that this course can only be taught in Spanish.

Moreover, I'll put a great deal of attention in your safety: How to analyze the snow conditions and especially what to do if an avalanche occurs. Also how to move in danger zones. Finally I'll teach you to use a transceiver, shovel and probe after an avalanche.

On top of that, my main goal is to pass on my passion for the mountains and this beautiful and unique sport.

So please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. I’ll get everything ready for you to enjoy this 2-day Val d'Aran introductory off piste skiing course.

And if you’d like to check out some of my winter courses, please take a look at my Val d’Aran ice climbing course or my 2-day Val d’Aran introductory alpine course.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
