This 20-day Mount Api Trek is ideal for adventurers that want an off the beaten path experience of the Himalayas. Mount Api is located to the North West of Nepal near the Tibetan border and it is one of the highest mountains of Gurans Himal. Because it is a less transited region than other trekking destinations in the area, it presents a unique opportunity to discover the land.
We begin our trip in Kathmandu. There, you will get a chance to visit some of Nepal’s most important temples. From Kathmandu we will have two long bus rides that will bring us closer to the Mount Api region. From then on, we will begin an unforgettable trekking experience into the mountains. On the way, we will see beautiful virgin landscapes, as well as typical towns. We will also encounter different Nepalese people, and probably cross some nomad groups on the way. Additionally, we will get stunning views of the Nandadevi, Rajramba, Api Himal, and Kappa Chuli mountains, and visit a holy lake called Kali Dunga.
Because this is a more remote trekking destination in Nepal than others, it takes some time to get there and to explore. This also means that a good fitness level, plus enthusiasm are necessary to make the best of the trip! Of course, we will be there to guide you along the way and to assist you. We will also take good care of the logistics in order to ensure an excellent experience!
Are you ready to discover one of Nepal’s most mysterious and unexplored regions? Then book your place and join us on this incredible 20-day adventure trek in Mount Api in Nepal! We will be happy to share some of Nepal’s best kept secrets with you!

Our guide Dr Flemming was excellent. He went above and beyond what we expected. We felt very safe and well trained to practice our climbing. Location was perfect and even though rain had been forecasted, they worked with us to make sure we could climb safely.
