Visit and discover an ancient territory on this 20-day trekking in Tsum Valley, Nepal.
The Tsum Valley is a holy place full of culture and tradition. It is located in the north of Gorkha, on the Himalaya mountain range. All over this area, you will find a strong presence of Buddhism as well as ancient art and culture. Rachen Gumba and Mu Gumba are some of the monasteries that you can see in the village. In addition, you will be able to admire a wide variety of wildlife, such as the Himalayan Thar and Blue Sheep. Due to its isolation from modern villages and cities, the culture and tradition of this valley remain untouched.
This is a 20-day trek that starts in the city of Kathmandu, the capital and biggest city of Nepal. Among the sacred places that you will visit on this trek, the Cave of Milarepa stands out because of its history and uniqueness. It is located near the village of Burji where you can admire the most beautiful Buddhist murals. Nearby this monastery, you will also visit the Dhephyudonma Gompa, one of the oldest temples in the Valley.
Please consider that the difficulty of this trek is moderate, so a good level of fitness and prior mountaineering experience are very important for all participants who want to take part of this trip.

Our guide Dr Flemming was excellent. He went above and beyond what we expected. We felt very safe and well trained to practice our climbing. Location was perfect and even though rain had been forecasted, they worked with us to make sure we could climb safely.
