Description

Would you like to join a thrilling outdoor adventure program in the Andes? Then join me on this 3-day ascent to Cerro Penitentes from Mendoza.

At 4350 m.a.s.l, Cerro Penitentes is a stunning peak in the Andes, near the border with Chile. This beautiful mountain gets its name from its odd-shaped rock forms that resemble penitents in prayer.  It is also home to a ski resort which will be the starting point of our adventure.

On this 3-day ascent, we will get the chance to explore the amazing wilderness of this mountain and revel at the stunning views from the summit. We will be able to admire views of the Tupungato volcano and the famous Aconcagua, among other towering peaks in the region. This trip is also a great preparation excursion for some of the more challenging climbs in the Andes.

Keep in mind that you will need to have a good fitness level and some mountaineering experience to join this trip. Furthermore, I will require a medical certificate from you before we set off. Of course, I will be there every step of the way to help and guide you.

So, are you ready for a thrilling climb to the top of Cerro Penitentes? Then book your place now and join me on this exhilarating 3-day program in the Andes!

Or, if you prefer something a little more challenging, you can join me on a multi-day adventure to the top of Cerro El Plata!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
