Description

Have you always imagined spending a few nights in cozy huts surrounded by the majestic Alps?  Well, I can help make this wish come true by taking you on a thrilling, 3-day hut-to-hut guided trek around Monviso from Pian del Re, Italy.

At 3,841m, Monviso, or Monte Viso, is the highest mountain in the Cottian Alps, a group of mountains located along the border between France and Italy. On this trek, we will discover the different faces of this mighty mountain, known locally in Italy as “The Stone King”.

On the first day, we will meet in Pian del Re. From here, we will make our way to the Quintino Sella Hut and onwards to the Vallanta Hut. Each day, we will trek for about 3- 5 hours every day, taking small breaks whenever needed. Our our final day, we will reach an altitude of 3,841m before heading back down to Pian del Re.

Price details

  • There is a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 people per group. Personal accident, insurance, halfboard accommodation in huts and 2 packed lunches are included. Not Included: Overhead travel expenses, remaining meals.

Itinerary

Day 1: Pian del Re

On the first day, we’ll meet in Pian del Re.

Day 2: Quintino Sella Hut

We’ll spend our second night at the Quintino Sella Hut.

Day 3: Vallanta Hut

Our final night together will be spent at the Vallanta Hut.

Autogrill Saronno at 6 AM. Hikers coming from Milan may be able to meet me there. Please contact me to ask about any other meeting points.
